Official Squatch Watchers

Wow. Very quiet last night and this morning. It's Friday, so I don't *think* anyone is nursing a hangover yet...... 'cept maybe @pitbullmomma, as she is finally away from her jackass job.

I'M MAKING CREPES!!! Line starts at the front. :D

The last 2 days, I have gone to bed extremely early and slept in until my *usual* time of 8AM, and both days I was completely and utterly EXHAUSTED... to the point I barely moved outta bed. Last night I didn't get to sleep until my *usual* time.....way past 11PM.. back up around 6AM... and I am bright eyed and bushy tailed. Can you get too tired from too much sleep?!?!

If I watch an hour of yoga every morning, does it count as actually DOING 15 minutes of yoga??? :lau

:hugs for stacey, Cappy and anyone else who needs one. I am just in SUCH good spirits today!

Good morning everyone!

I believe I found the solution to the Milk Drinker's restlessness at night. He needed his own pillow. Night before last I got so frustrated with his wiggling and climbing on our pillows that I grabbed a spare, put it down between my and DH's pillows and he settled in and didn't wiggle much at all for the rest of the night. Last night, he nursed once, settled in on his pillow and slept soundly.

i think roosters will always get the hormones in them and they're bound to act up if you spend enough time around them. spending lots of time hugging them and letting them sleep on you is a good way to make sure they respect you enough to listen when you say "no". like a human, if you mistreat them as children they are more likely to grow up to be aggressive
This post made my morning with it's ridiculousness. This was posted in response to a question about how to best deal with aggressive roosters. I removed the name so I could share without drawing the poster's attention. This person has made SEVERAL really stupid suggestions on how best to deal with chickens by babying them and treating them like humans.

:celebrate

If I talk to my son every morning and evening while he walks 2 miles to and from work, am I walking four miles a day too?

I acknowledge that pillows are not recommended for babies and small children , BUT
all my kids LOVED pillows.
I bought them the “travel size” pillows at walmart. They still are very inexpensive and I always kept a spare in the closet in case somebody got sick and barfed on it.

Morning all :frow Sorry Anansi, I over slept so no time for breakfast... Cute Bunnies cap, only skipped 88 to get here this am. Woke up to a half inch of white crap on the ground and covering my truck. So like Smuvs said, who ever sent it, take it back:barnie
Pfffftttt, a half inch of snow? Dude. I've got two feet. Who sent these storms??? We've lost the first day of spring break, and used the three hour delay for the first time EVER. (Not that I'll be in school for that day. I'm goin on a family trip!!! Also, I get to go to Boston next week!!! Freedom trail, here I come! I'm a bit of a history geek!)

I vote YES!!!

Wish me luck during crew today! It got cancelled for the past two days, because the Hudson decided to pay a visit to the crew center, so today is going to be killer.

RUN Ruby... RUUUUUNNNN!!!!!

Morning Stacey and Ruby and Rae and RJ and anyone I missed.

Ruby you know you can do it!
Family trip sounds like a fun one. :celebrate

Stacey, How's Max doing? Such a cutie! I bet he's as hoot.

Our weather is trying to trick me into planting stuff. not gonna do it!

Hubby has been riding his motorcycle to work since its been so nice.

Working out the plan for my dog kennel. It is huge! With the neighbors wood fence and my not so little dog house the area in between gets super muddy and takes forever to dry. I will be setting pavers there.
We got 20 used 2x2 pavers so that will help. Good golly they are heavy though.

Well puppy Piddles is down for a nap. I am gonna take a shower.
