OK gang. Tried and true methods of dispersing flies, killing flies, repelling flies outside. They're almost covering the outside of one section of our house... the same section where the *ladybugs* were last month! Plus, a few wasps were mixed in too! This is the same side that the coops are on however, NO flies in the coop(s) or run.

HALP!!!

By the time i got to the swap today all they had left was one male turkey. Not a good buddy for my lone quail, i named her Solo. She has tons of room in the quail hutch. It really is depressing lifting all those poor dead quail out of the box. I made the post office guy look at them. The pussy actually covered his nose and mouth with his shirt!

Can you get some from another hatchery? Or make the hatchery you got these ones from send you a few more?! Solo shouldn't be alone.. that's not right!!! (stomping foot)

SNORT I wish. Our first summer here, our garage was overrun with ants. Like horribly overrun. We couldn't figure out where they were coming from, but I did a sugar/borax mixture and they took it back to the next and no more ants.


Not much longer after that.... dead crickets in our garage. Not live. Dead. Like, they hopped out of SOMEWHERE and died. We were daily sweeping dead crickets up... it was weird.

SO far this year, it's been the Japanese beetles on the eastern side of our house, where the sun rises... and now the flies and wasps. Actually, we've had wasps each spring through autumn every year we've lived here. So... wth.....

I read that vanilla scented car tree deodorizers repel flies.

I got them from a BYC member. This is not the first time the PO killed off a whole shipment of birds on her. I feel awful for her loss. She is giving me a refund. I will find more quail, i just need to keep at it.
 
I was listening to a radio program today. They were calling bruises adventure stickers! I thought of you guys right away! :lau
