Official Squatch Watchers

Thanks :hugsHopefully put some cheer into folks. Whats on the agenda today? I'm filling out medical forms for tomorrow & Monday :heI'm not a novelist, love to read, but this is ridiculous :rantthey should have everything on hubby, just a click a button. Nothing changes in 24 let alone 12hrs of being there. Literally we live at both places :mad:my hand is going to fall off:th
What kills me is, they never look at what you write! They just ask you those same questions! Duh!

I feel the same way at the beginning of every school year. I eventually took a photo of it so I could just copy all the info instead of having to remember stuff or look up phone numbers. For my younger kid who has medical issues, I have a document that I print out that lists all her issues. This year they have a new online system so next year I'll just have to go in and check the info is correct and 'sign' it. It's awesome. For the drs visits I hate having to fill out the new patient stuff, but at this point we've seen everyone under the sun so they have it all in their system.. it's just letting them know about new stuff that they may not have seen since the diagnosis/ procedure. It's really nice how drs work with a hospital now so all her stuff is there already.
We end up getting new insurance yearly and have to get new doctors so more papers to fill out! That no one looks at!

Exactly especially when they walk in the room,
Do you wear glasses? duh there on my face
Do you have dentures? Duh no mouth (our situation)
I mean really :hmm

The 401 k is even bigger joke :rantit's your money you should be able to do what you want with it. When did we become so communist :idunno

So, I’ve come to a heart wrenching decision, if I want to accomplish my chicken keeping goals, I really need to drastically SIMPLIFY my flock. My goals: meat, eggs, and broodies.

I am feeling somewhat sick about the whole thing, but I’m probably selling most of my buffs, all the Delawares, and some of my mutt birds. I may eventually get rid of my Cochins and New Hampshires too. I don’t know yet. I’m staring down the number 100 this week and realizing I’ve dug a pretty big hole for myself. I need to get my chicken math under control.
Preach it Sister!

I went down to 6 hens last summer. What a lot of work but it is so much easier to take care of a small flock

Gosh I’m sorry Misty, the extra frustrating part about that is that when you get there, they’ll go though all the same questions verbally.
What a huge time-waster.

Well, we go through at least 10-20 eggs a day, so we need more than 6 hens. I'm hoping to be down to no more than 60 come winter.

Aggravating for me (uninsured) is that the exact same doctors visit at the exact same doctor is now 277 bucks and was just 70 a few years ago.
Now they don't even look at you! They just ask a few basic questions and MIGHT bother themselves to take your temp.
:rant:rant:rant I don't have a freaking fever! But can you look at my dislocated shoulder?!?

I want more too!

Doggone compliance officer....
