Official Squatch Watchers

:hugs

That's the main reason it is nice to live in the boonies. No restrictions on poultry.
I hope to get out to the country after I retire. I lived in the country until I was 17 and loved it!

Plus no permits required unless building bigger than 12x20. I like doing what i want on my properyy!
My county is even better I don’t need a permit to do anything if I do it myself. The only thing the contractors who did my parent’s house needed was a septic permit.

Aggravating for me (uninsured) is that the exact same doctors visit at the exact same doctor is now 277 bucks and was just 70 a few years ago.
Now they don't even look at you! They just ask a few basic questions and MIGHT bother themselves to take your temp.
:rant:rant:rant I don't have a freaking fever! But can you look at my dislocated shoulder?!?
Exactly I'm bleeding to death, no that's right check my ears duh
Also check your billing statement, hubby & I did wow we were being billed for things they didn't do , or use & a Dr that didn't exist it was a student. On some invoices it'll say you were seen by Dr so & so or nurse whatever, turns out the person that seen hubby at hospital portrayed a Dr really good, you wouldn't have known. Needless to say our bill came down $2000 & still working on more & a possible law suit

There have been segments on the local news here about bad billing. People charged thousands above what the bill should have been.
People being charged for treatments they did not get and tons of things.
Always check every line of any doctor bill.

My favorite bonehead Medical story is from my sister and her husband.
They went to Peru to hike the Incan Trail. Before you go you have to have certain shots to protect you. To get the shots you have to pay for them before you get them.
They go on their trip have a great time (If you’re into that LOL) and then start getting phone calls from a collection agency. The hospital had turned them in for not paying their bill.
THERE WAS NO BILL! It’s prepay only. My sister had to argue with the collection agency and the hospital for almost a year.

wild or tame?
Little of both. LOL The landlord has pigeons that somehow became my responsibility. When this one was a baby it was banded with a colored zip tie. I couldn’t tell if the band was to tight so was trying to catch it to check.
So it’s in a coop but not people friendly. (And the band was fine.)
