@apryl29 That’s the exact site I was using to look up stinging bugs! LOL There is also a version for butterflies and moths. I like that one much better.

Yes it being my right hand I’m definitely keeping an eye on it. It wasn’t that bad yesterday but it woke me this morning. I thought I must have slept on it or something with how it felt. But then I looked at it... my palm and thumb are definitely more swollen. It feels funny when I touch it, sorta numb like.

Lol! Cicada killers are huge! The carpenter bee explanation is kind of a half truth, the males can't sting but the females sure can! The way to tell is females have a dot on their heads and males don't.;)

Thoughts on spent brewing grains? My BIL made a batch of beer and sent the chickens the wet mash. I gave them some and they seemed to like it but I don’t want to give them too much. I also have several pounds of it so don’t want it to go bad....
Best way to feed?
Best way to store?
Fill cookie sheets and bake?

Most threads on the topic are older or from people with lots of chickens.

Not baking. Freezing if you have freezer space would give you the longest storage.

The spent grains do lose a bit of nutrition. It can be mixed with chicken feed but you will need to look up the percentage.

I vote freezing too. Maybe freeze in muffin baking tray then transfer to freezer bag for easy portions.

I'm staying out of this one... Somewhere in the gazillion posts I've read a beer maker went over storage as well as percent to add. But for the life of me I can't find it. @KikisGirls need your Sherlock skills.

ETA: Why does autocorrect hate BEER?
