Gah! Dumb weather app said rain today but it rained maybe 20 mins but looked like it might rain all day. They said the same deal for tommorow its going to rain. I seriously wish they'd get their tater together! Chick freedom day NEEDS to happen, just not in the flipping pouring rain geeze! And yes I know chicks don't melt but these girls have no idea about rain and ya'll know chickens and new stuff don't mix lol! I might put them in the run, that way they can get rained on or get under cover and if they freak they're contained. :caf

I'll ask and do all this research and they probably won't even eat it. My chickens are so weird. Nothing leafy green! They'll eat most anything else but if it's not grass coming directly out of the ground they want nothing to do with it if it's leafy and green!

ETA: They don't like vegetables in general...:confused:

If they do not eat much the first time don't worry too much. They will do that with new food. They usually eat a lot better the second time for a new food

No rain foretasted today.. got over an inch. weather station died... says its -40* right now and 0% humidity... I guess the last rain killed it... it does still show the 6" of rain we got before it died.

Had to take a 1/4th of a percocet this morning. I know I have a bone spur in my right foot, and I need to make a podiatry appointment VERY soon. I'm just hoping they don't put me through the rigamarole they did with the STDH, where I'll be put into physical therapy and wearing a boot at night. Already been doing ALL of it and it's not helping. In fact, it makes it worse, so I know it's definitely a bone spur.
