There's a push mower in there too. Some other random things. A few wooden ladders are around as well as a wheel borrow and a dolly.
As frustrated as I've been with the whole situation the woman who is living there is the daughter of the actual owner. She is having such a hard time emotionally dealing with it all. Her Mom is alive but in a nursing home. So she had been tasked with taking care of everything. She's hugged me repeatedly for taking over the family home and not wanting to change it. (Other then some cosmetic things.)
She's so excited I want to make it my forever home. Told me today she'd love for me to meet her Mom. "So she could know what a lovely lady the house is going to."
:hitOh my gosh I’m so happy for you.
And for that daughter. What a weight lifted off her shoulders.
The proceeds from this house sale is going to take good care of her mom.

So I signed papers this morning! :fl Nothing goes wrong until I take physical possession. I did get more pictures of the coop

Awesome... Mine was a short sale sale so closing was scary. Worked out out ok though.

I thought about it. I don't know if I'll have time while the daughter is still in town. (She actually lives in Georgia.) And I wasn't sure if it would be super weird to show up alone at the nursing home. I know she had been taking care of her mom for the last 2 years until it became to much. She's in her 90's now so mentally it might be a bit much for the mom.

If you can, do it. You'll love yourself later for the effort.

Scary not fun, maybe a clue to the base problem...

Lol! Ya'll Frenchie the lady that got Cookie called me when she got home she's just tickled to pieces. Cookie crowed the whole trip and get this she stopped at Wendy's and took the crate INSIDE and proceeded to eat with Cookie because she wasn't going to just leave the "little mister" in the car. She's also going to keep him in the house tonight because "new places are scary". She's nuts! I loooove her!:lau

So my niece is 20 months old and I realize I'm biased but she's the smartest 20 month old I've ever met.
Kid kills me on the regular with stuff she says.
Apparently her my BIL is growing his beard and a few days in she looks over at him and tells him "Daad wash your face. It's diiirTy." :lau
This girl is so Sassy! And not in a talk back smart mouth way. Just a super confident little Miss.

Honestly I think she'd love it. Even if she has no idea who you are or what's going on a smiling, freindly face and a warm voice mean the world to a nursing home patient. And it is not super weird, after you hit 75 nothing is weird, wise words from my Grandma who was all kinds of weird.:)

Such a peaceful roost time, no randy boy trying to love everybody, no Hobo kung fu. So flipping strange! I don't know what they're going to do with themselves tommorow but i'm guessing it will be way less hectic no matter what they decide. Poor Beavis is the lone pullet though until I turn the babies loose. I think she'll be ok though, Negan does not try anything with her so she gets to not be chased at least for a little while.:)

When my mom was in an assisted living facility she even got excited when OTHER people had visitors.
