Oh Suzi, I’m so sorry about Sawyer. Dogs don’t last long enough, in my opinion.

Well i'm fully stocked now, the stores are so picked clean it isn't even funny. The little girls did awesome last night, everyone was still on the roost this morning no worse for wear. I was nervous though.

That’s good to Hear. All the stores here closed yesterday including homedepot. They closed at noon. Lowes didn’t even open. Walmart didn’t open either.
DH went to work, said he only saw a couple of cars out and only one gas station with gas.

Hers a good molt picture.
I wonder what would happen if I left them out in the wind?
Only one or two tail feathers left on this one.
And none on this one.
The buffs shut down the egg operation this week and just started to shoot their feathers too.
Everyone for a mile around would wonder where all the feathers came from !

@apryl29 I'm unfortunately staying with the ex. He’s paid the rent and all bills are in his name. I’m trying to get the coop done so I can finish moving. Almost everything I own is at the new house. Down to “daily use” and “wow I still have this.”

Living with him is most certainly reminding me that I don’t like him all that much.

Oh my goodness, the Milk Drinker has been talking my ear off ALL morning. He really wants his "letter puzzle" but I really don't want to give it to him. He need my help to put it back together. It isn't so bad when it is only 8 or 10 pieces like his shapes, number, or animal puzzles. But his letter puzzle is 26 pieces and I have to painstakingly help him put it back together. It is maddening. I turned on "silly songs" for him (YouTube educational/nursery rhyme songs) just to get him to hush.

Oh the other day, he was pointing at one of the high shelves in our room and saying two words. I couldn't figure out what he was saying until I realized the first word was "Monkey". I looked where he was pointing and saw the Curious George jack-in-a-box that my sister got him for Christmas. Then I realized that he was saying "Monkey Weasel". It had been months since I had brought it down for him to play with because he was too rough. But he remembered the song I sang with it (monkey chased the weasel) and named it "Monkey Weasel". So cute.


I'm glad everyone is safe so far. Stay dry!
