Still working on getting the barn cleaned up and organized.
I did manage to get some work in on the duplex for my California Valley Quail. Both doors are on, and i plan to have 2 sets of latches just to be sure they don't get out. Not sure how i want to arrange the inside as they fly and sometimes perch unlike my other quail. I would like to build a really big aviary for them. But right now i have a lot of other projects to do.

Thank ya'll, hard to belive in July they were just little poof balls. Now i'm seeing teeny combs popping out, and Rene finally has a tail she lost her neck though to grow it.:p
If you could hang a wreath on the wall behind them between or from one of this studs, and try to get that shot again it would make a really beautiful holiday card

Oh, here are some pictures I took at the zoo.

He thought it was hilarious when I started making "nom-nom" noises while the panda was eating.

He was also quite interested in the "big kitties".

This was one of the sweetest things. When we walked up there was someone giving a little speech to a few 6-10 year olds about the elephants. Both the bull and the female were about 50 yards away from the fence. When we walked up with the Milk Drinker, the female elephant came down to take a look at him. She was making rumbly noises like mother elephants make to calves at him.

He really liked the amphibian house.

He kept telling me what color the frogs were.

He really liked the "clown fishies" too.

He really like the "tiny red froggies"

He wasn't too impressed by the prairie dogs.

He really liked the lions,

and the tiger. He kept telling them "bye" as we walked away.

By time we got to the great ape house, he was pooped and really didn't show any interest in the exhibit. I had to get pics of the baby gorilla,

and the baby Orangutan. I couldn't get a great picture of it, but the mama orang is sacked out on the floor and is letting her baby chew on her lip and face.

What a wonderful day!

Mornin folks!

All is well here.
It's getting cold at night now. It won't be long til we are busting ice in the mornings.

Lots of arranging to do here. I got a new to me much nicer sewing machine. It's to heavy for the old table so I got a bigger/heavier table. Just gotta get organized now.

Good morning! @21hens-incharge new to you sewing machines are always nice especially if they're a step up from what you had. I tried to get some extra sleep this morning since it is cool and good sleeping weather but it wasn't ment to be thanks to hubs. I tried twice too, once on the couch and once in the bed but nope. I don't get it, when he's sleeping I don't bother him but he can't leave me be to save his life.:barnie
