Likely that the bubbler got fowled... Had that happen with 25 gallons of juniper berry *uhm* juice...Gah, he drives me nuts with the wine! It has been like this since we moved here and he discoverd the grape vines. The soggy boom could have been avoided if he'd listened to me "like most of his disasters". I told him the bucket wasn't big enough but nooo it will be fine he says! That little airlock thing got launched like a rocket, I found it behind the stove. I'm glad i'm psychic and stuck the whole thing in a washtub before the boom.
