Hey everyone!

I was pretty pooped today. I was asleep by 10pm last night but I kept waking up. The Milk Drinker woke me at 6am. At 7, DH had gotten up and I moved the Milk Drinker into his play area and I laid back down and slept until almost 9. We didn't really get anything done until almost 2 pm when the Milk Drinker went down for his nap. Then DH, FIL and I worked on getting half the decking up on the porch so we can work on the house skirting. I only have a week of the staycation left, so I need to make it count. FIL has an appointment at the Dental school 1.5 hours away tomorrow morning, and since he can't drive, DH has to go with him. I'm hoping my mom can take the Milk Drinker tomorrow.

So I feel really dumb— the windows I bought are sliders. :::face palm:::
Not a big deal but they can’t be installed how and where I planned.
Clearly I need more sleep before working on the coop.

Ok then, i'll send you some once it is actual wine.
I've had two cardinals die in nearly the same place in a weeks time. Just found the first one it was already gone, but this one today was alive! It didn't act right , let me get right up on it. I went to get the mail cardinal is deader than a hammer. Those birds were pretty much in the exact same spot and both were cardinals! How freaky! I'm of course getting rid of the bodies since I don't want the girls eating mystery birds.

At least you found them before your chickens did. I had to chase my bird-brained chicken around b/c she wouldn't give up her dead bird. Thankfully there was only one.

That's almost like having an extra foot! Are we going to start breeding for extra toes now?
I googled chickens with extra toes and saw some crazy pictures. A person w/ an extra finger is not a chicken with an extra toe. Maybe start a thread and ask people to post their pics to feed your new fetish.

How do the other birds not try to eat her toes? I painted my fingernails and they watched my hands like I was a magician.
