I am thinking a bad hamster wheel episode for mine. You know when to many are on it at the same time and one just tumbles and tumbles.

OMG that's so hilarious!!! Like a chicken treadmill! :lau

I am totally putting one of these in my run.

There were other videos of roosters in hamsters wheel style running. I thought it looked more like training for a cock fight.
This video seemed like he found the wheel on accident. I was worried about injury though. I was waiting for him to slip and go round and round.

So, we found a floor plan we like from one builder for our new home. They were able to do a full kitchenette and a private bath for an in-law suite.

White this floor plan is great, There are a few things that don't really meet our needs. I spent most of the morning making some modifications to that floor plan.

- I put a handicap shower in the in-law suite
- We didn't like how much space the hallway took up and we really don't need that computer desk and bookcase. So I pulled the Utility room and bath 1 to the center line to make the utility room larger so we can use it as a proper mud room.
- Moved the Master walk-in closet (I really wouldn't use such a monstrosity of a closet) so it is next do the dining room so we can utilize it as a pantry. We buy a lot of foods in bulk, so this would be handy.
- Added a smaller closet in the Master
- Added a small prep sink on the island across from the stove.
- Added a sliding glass door in the dining room so we can use it as access to a deck on the back.

All-in-all, I like my plan better.
What fun! When my sister and her husband were planning a house I took out graph paper and started to draw up plans. Nothing fancy and nothing they went with in the end but it was super fun.

Not sure on building costs by you and what your plans are for using rooms now or more to the future but I know that there were weird little cost cutting things the builder told my Sis about. Like not putting a closet in doesn’t make it a bedroom. That changes the price.... In Ohio at least an in-law suite changes thing drastically. The extra bathroom doesn’t make it an in-law suit but the kitchen does.

I guess I’m saying ask! Lots of ways to save money and some of them are weird.

When we initially looked at the floor plan, it was 25K more than the current plan, but the inlaw area used to be a covered deck and a "theater room" and the 4th bedroom was a "lounge" with a wet bar. Removing those extravagant fixings, plus the fact that they are now getting the plan from a different builder is what lowered the price so much. I'm just hoping that they can do my updates. I really want a mudroom!

I like your plan better. You are right the hall was oddly huge.
Where will your washer and dryer go?

Well-- I went to the old house to check on everyone there and Trouble my rooster was d.o.a. I thought the molt was making him not feel well. Guess it was more then that. Of course Taterhead is still alive and well and being a taterhead.
I also picked up a pool noodle I had there for Glayds. Maybe leg supports are in order.

With so many dying, you might want to send one in for a necropsy.

State lab will only do necropsy ir referred to by a vet. I'm wondering if it's something genetic. It's all been Swedish Flowers.
It could be or less resistance to something.

It is weird that you have to have a vet referral. Have you contacted them directly?

Here I can drop of two a day for $20.00 bucks

I hadn't but someone else I know had not that long ago. I sent a txt to double check that that was the answer she got. I remember because she was frustrated and argued it with them
"I can't take a dead bird to the vet". They said she should have taken it before it died.
