Kids can fall asleep anywhere. The Milk Drinker fell asleep on a windowsill.

How are you feeling Rae?

I'm feeling better, but I am definitely more queasy this time around. I've also always been sensitive to texture, but now it is even more pronounced. Things that I liked previously I can't eat because of smell or texture. Thankfully, I haven't puked at all, except once when I had a nasty coughing fit when I was sick. I think that was just a fluke.

Oh, and good news, the Milk Drinker has slept in his bed for the last week and I have him down to 2 nursing sessions a day. He still wakes at least once a night, but I turn on his music machine and tell him to "lay down, go to sleep" and I tuck him back it. It may take 10-30 min for him to get back to sleep, but he does fall back asleep. It is good prep for when we get the new house and he is going to sleep in his own room.

Welome back! I'm terrible at remembering but Nunny got some new chickens and Ron installed a bidet for his wife. So how was your trip?

I am really bad at this but wil try.

It looks like Suzi's serama babies may both be fellas.
FNF got cute chickens to add to her flock.
WV has a really cute crower. Kind of sings it instead of yelling it.
Suzi's serama boy has a great squeaky crow.
Suzi also had her other hand operated on......which led to a discussion on bidet vs peri bottle for person clensing.
Stacey's and my dogs reacted to WV's rooster crowing.
I know there's tons more.

FNF got the roof on her coop. I think you were here for that though. She froze her taters off but got it done.

Cappy hit her head and ripped stitches out. Hospital trip for that. Ok now that she's patched up.

Rae has been sicky as has Suzi.

Exhausting, but great. Got to spend Monday and Tuesday afternoon / evening with the grand kids.

New chickens and privates cleaning. Those are the two things you remembered from his time away.

I'm pretty sure Gladys's injury is from her using that hock as a stepping point. I tried hobbling her and she was removing it. I tried the sling and she was throwing herself out. (I usually found her dangling by her bad leg.) I finally found a hobble she couldn't escape. I used vet wrap on her legs so the hobble itself wouldn't slide down her legs. I had it up past the hock on her good leg then around the hock on her bad. She pretty much refuses to walk around once hobbled. But I wanted to try and hold it in a better position.

Not happy with me....
I did bring home some more supplies today and I will try and clean up the hole in her leg better probably this weekend. Give the honey some time to work and her a break from being poked and prodded.
I wrapped her wound but did not hobble her again.

In other news--

My poor OE is half bald! She doesn't like to be handled so I only check on her when I have to. She's a rooster favorite so she's been in a saddle for months. I wanted to see how her feathers were coming in, if the saddle was causing a problem. Every time I touched her handfuls of feathers fell off! Looked like a chicken crime scene. I've never personally seen a molt this hard. Poor thing needs the saddle for warmth at this point.
I'm a little worried about my Wheaten Amercauna too. The one always feels lousy during molt but I had to pick poop off her today. She's sleeping under a roost. She walks around all puffed up and disgruntled looking. I'm hoping that's all it is.
