Nice dog, doesn't look like he has any Aussie in him - sometimes a Pyrenees has "biscuit" markings around ears etc. But he has a lot of that color on his back- wondering what breed that would come from.

Don't have a clue on what he's mixed with, neither did the previous owner. He's very affectionate and want's to please.

Sorry cap and chicky, you're getting the system that just left me. Today, I need to bring 100 pounds of feed and a trash can up to the garage. The pasture is sooooo soaked, I'm killing it driving back and forth. Almost 4" of rain this month and just in the last few days.

We were supposed to get down to 21 last night, thankfully it didn't go below 36. Still 92% humidity, we need some dry air.

Still raining! Come on now, iv'e got stuff I need to do that it can't be raining when I do it. No doodie faces this morning thank goodness, but I did kind of have to body block Negan and Hobo he was harassing her on the roost so I leaned in his way. He's cute, he won't peck me if he wants me out of the way he rubs his head on me and butts like a goat...it does not work.

Normal mosquitos or those teeny weeny new ones that popped up this year and hurt like a mother?

Basically my son has had zero contact his whole life with his biological dad or any siblings.
He wants no contact and somehow a sister managed to find my phone number.

My son is 29 so I cannot force him to.

I don't mean to be confusing.
I am on a few meds the last couple days for migraine headache.
Putting thoughts into coherent sentences is rough.

Crazy... just want to verify, the "sister" is your son's at the most - half-sister, correct? We had a similar situation w my ex.. after my oldest was born he decided he wanted to contact his 'real' mom. We googled her and got ahold of her landlord who passed on his info. I *thought* she might be sane, but I really should have known better, but meeting her made my ex's mental issues make sense. He had 2 half sisters, we visited them a few times. They encouraged him to cheat on me and hosted a party so he and his mistress could spend NYE together. They literally cropped me out of a photo of my husband holding our daughter. Real crap people. So I totally understand why you guys don't want anything to do w/ them. If they keep bothering you, block their number. If you have verizon they only block for 3 months though. It's stupid. Return to sender any letters they send. She could be trying to contact your son b/c something happened to his dad, but I would think they'd have said that when you talked to them. My friend is estranged from her dad, he was trash and he got sick a while back and wanted to see her before he dies... she said no. Them clearing their conscience always makes the other person feel like garbage.

Snakes are great and so are bats and spiders. They eat all my least favorite things

They can live as long as they don't come near me.

Everyone is crying already just because it hit 27 this morning and never got above 36. What a bunch of pansies.

That's what we live w/ here... we still complain & that will happen every winter forever.

Hubs just texted me the dumbest question! I know they say there are no dumb questions but they are mistaken. He asked me if i'd be interested in selling a hen, as in one of my hens...lol nope. One of his coworkers is down to one rooster and one hen. What in the world good would one more hen do? A few of my girls aren't nice but i'd not sell them. I'm not that nice and nobody's sold me yet lol! I told him i'd happily hatch guy out some when it is possible but no way on the hen. Guy has his eye on Marlene, his flock were her broodmates and he likes those big eggs and big birds. He'll have to wait, that's about all I can tell him.
