No! Tapeworm IS a problem.
Sorry she’s nuts.
Treat with praziquantel.
Man I’m shaking my head.
That's what I thought! I assume no eggs while treating... what's the withhold period for that? Ughhhhhhhhh.... I was just getting excited about having eggs again. Sigh. If only they'd stop eating their poop. I swear, this one idiot was digging through the poop board while I was scooping on Sunday grabbing bits of oyster shell that'd been ejected when someone cleared their crop out. WHYYYyyyyyyy?????!!!! They have a bowl of oyster shell that hasn't been digested once! So yeah.. worms from eating poop. Honestly, it's probably from the damn dogs. They crap all over and the chickens don't care.. they wander around pecking at everything in sight.

:bow
my mom used to shop in the husky boy dept at sears for my clothes around the farm when i was in grade school ..
I had a dr say 30 yrs ago, I should weight what i graduated high school as... umm no I do not want to weigh 210 lbs
I now can fit in my first communion dress, although it is a little short :gig

lost 30 lbs in a few months in 2012 when I found out I was intolerant of wheat, dairy and 25 other things.... gained 8 lbs overnight when I ate a spinach calzone that fall, took a month to lose it.
Yeah.. if that's true I'd be 108 (anorexic in hs)... bmi calc says I *should* be 119. Um, that ain't happening either. I would like to lose about 50 though... but food tastes good & I haz the lazies.

Nooo, lots and lots of spandex in those pants. They got alot of give to them, which I love because they let you move. They don't squash anything or go exploring in the canyon either. Really impressed, once I get the size tacked down they're nearly perfect. I normally get Mossimo target's jeans but they're messing with the structure now last pair gave me an obsene amount of "toe".:barnie
I think I'll take a look at those pants. I found a couple that I loved, but they were from Gabe's (think store w/ new stuff that couldn't sell other places, so you get what you get & that's it.). I got fat thighs so that makes pants difficult. Asses of masses.

Honestly iv'e seen a few ladies that look like they tried hard to get visible toe a few dudes too! :p
Nearly forgot I have a new to me vacuum! Dumb thing is it was here all along out in Mom's shed it was so big I thought it was a shampooer. I brought it in and plugged it up it works great! It takes bags but no biggie. It was dirty and full of spiders but my house anole will eat those. Big ole Hoover runabout, completely free and dosen't smell like it is going to catch fire.:yesss:
this actually made me LOL, for real. Thank you.

I know i was just being a little naughty. Our bed makes all kinds of sounds and it’s annoying
I got it!

I'm dreading taking feed to the barn today... The pasture is a mud pit. Supposed to get more rain tonight, looks like the front runs from Arkansas to Chicago. Our friends in Ohio aren't going to like what it brings....:rant
Is there anything that isn't mud right now? We got rain, but it didn't do much to make things any worse. It was nice when it was frozen for a few days though.

I did the yard check while tending birds. We came through ok. Nothing I cannot fix in ten minutes.

The wind had to be hitting 80 mph to pop the clips off the hoop run. The plastic is all ok which was a surprise.

PBM!! That is hilarious and awesome!!
I look forward to pics.
You need some little elf hats for the birds.
I know Stacey knows how to put them together.
;)
Can you use a couple pull ties to keep it more intact in the future?

My pet chicken has a sale

When I first saw that I thought the leggins were $150... and based on the things some people buy, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were.

It was chicken moving day!

The girls. 8 of them in a dog carrier and tiny Frannie in my lap.
I had moved the small flock of chicken city to the coop before I went to get the girls. Egret was thrown into the deal with the others because she was known for being bossy. I thought for sure her and B!tch Pudding would have it out. Nope.
Clayton thought he was in heaven will all these new ladies. Then he met B!tch Pudding. She said no and meant it.View attachment 1599847Yep, a chunk of comb I pulled from her beard! She lives up to her name yet again.View attachment 1599850Everyone was finding their places on the new roosts.

Did I mention it was a muddy day? The bottom of my boot was sucked off!
So glad you got them moved! This weekend was a great time to do it since it was so nice out. If I ever hear from that guy about the boys, I'll let you know, but I wouldn't wait around for him (I didn't!)...

I went to the ER, still suffering after 10 days of neck and shoulder pain. Numb left thumb. And i can't look up.
Could it be a stuck facet joint? That happened to my ex year ago when he was unloading cases of paper from a delivery truck. Took months for it to fix itself, but honestly, I think he was malingering b/c it didn't want to go back to work and wanted to sit at home and play video games all day.

You guys will never believe what someone at one of my accounts got delivered to work....

So, the guy didn't finish with my birds until about 8pm last night. Because the weather was bad, DH decided to head down that way before dark and wait in the nearest place that had reception which is about 15 min from the guy's house. He got there at 5:30, so he was waiting for 2.5 hours and this was after driving to the place in the morning and us going to the bank (1 hour round trip) in the early afternoon to sign some papers. Poor guy has to take his dad up to Morgantown today (1.5 hour drive one way) to the dentist. and all this is after all the driving surrounding the holiday weekend.
Oh wow. Well, at least gas prices are pretty low right now and it's done and over with til next time. Even with the long wait, it might be a good idea to go that route if you need any done between now and the baby arriving.

Loki looks miserable right now. She's got a bunch of pins, but has something covering them, at least. Her chest is just about naked. One of my white ones is grabbing feathers. I swatted her after she grabbed several out of Damon's backside, then grabbed her and took the feathers away. I'm getting pretty sick of it. I've been feeding feather fixer, plus all flock crumble & calf manna. There's no way she's not getting enough protein. I'm about to lock her in the broody cage.

Work is super fun right now. Our director retires at the end of this week. Our new director is a manager at one of our branches. Another manager who has 2 branches is leaving us, so we'll have 2 manager positions open. Our 3rd manager left in May so we'll have 3 new managers this year. Then one of your Youth Services people is leaving in Dec too. It's about to get very interesting. Several current staff had applied for the last manager position and were denied. I suspect they'll also be applying for the current openings too. Everyone's always pissy after this happens.

Bonus is that my boss is intentionally not doing her job b/c she's waiting for the new director to start b/c she "doesn't want to put it all on our current director before she leaves", even though the current director has been after my boss for months to do her job (wanted to finish up ongoing projects before she hands stuff off to the new guy) and the new director is also trying to finish up projects for his branch so he's also currently saying "Where's the stuff I asked for a year ago?". And instead my boss is obsessing over why a patron can't connect to our wifi on her kindle (which isn't our job). I need computers. I need software. I need monitors. She does nothing (but says she needs to take time off b/c she hasn't all year and she's going to lose personal time & floating holidays). Good times.

It is hard getting a new Boss!

What a mess work is for you now

I bet you cannot guess who woke up all stopped up in the sinuses!

Yup me.

Soooooooo......
Making ten bean soup but not sure what all goes in it. Thinking I will make it like a veggie soup with spicy sausage.

Nyquil is my friend for a few days.

I was really relieved when I found out the new director was going to be the one manager. He's nice & I don't foresee any issues coming from him that will affect me. Plus I'd been complaining to him about how much we do and the crap pay (wayyyy prior to him becoming the director, I mean) so maybe that'll help. We have a weird hierarchy here.. so I'd never had that "oh, they're a manager... don't talk to them like they're a person" thing w/ him that happens when they're a manager & you're an underling. But at the same time it'd be awesome if someone could put a boot to my boss's backside so she'll get something done. Unfortunately she's older and I think she's having problems and is trying to get by b/c she doesn't want to retire, but it's glaringly obvious to everyone that she's been having problems with her memory for some time now.

Ugh.. it's the time of year for it. The past several days my older one has been getting nose bleeds. She woke me up early today yelling for toilet paper for her nose. I'm going to need to break out the humidifier tonight.

I just got over my second cold in 8 weeks. I'm fairly positive I got the first one in the hospital where I had my first Carpal tunnel surgery. This one was probably due to me finally going out into the real world after being cooped up from both surgeries. Now hopefully I am done for the season

UGH, go to get something fixed and come out sick. Blech!
I am glad you are feeling better.

The only places I have gone recently are the fabric store and the grocery store.
I figure the grocery store is my more likely culprit. :tongue

Yup, that is what I'm planning on. Next time I want it done, hopefully, I'll have time to catch the birds the night before so we can leave at the crack of dawn. This time we got back from a day of traveling well after dark and I barely had energy to climb into bed, let alone going out in the dark and grabbing chickens. I want to buy several of those plastic transport crates and have proper shrink bags for the birds to go in next time.

It was def a learning experience, but sounds like it didn't go too terribly that it's not worth doing it again. Especially if you've got more than a few birds to do. I've never processed, but it sounds like pretty labor intensive. Outsourcing seems like a good option when available.
