Oh I'm thrilled with the color.....just confused
That was my exact problem with my lavender. I was under the impression that she was a pure lavender orpington and then she suddenly started laying green eggs. I wasn't planning on breeding so it's not a big deal but it's it was still kind of surprising and unexpected because she should have laid brown eggs.
 
Well, the water line is definitely damaged, but it is not the water company line, is the one that runs to someone's house, presumably ours. I'll have to call the water company back on Monday to see if they can tell me for sure if it's ours. I did find out that one of our other neighbors is friends with the new one, so I know how to get in contact with them now.

And yes, everything was clearly marked with flags and paint on the ground before they did any digging. That's why I was upset about losing power, and now finding out that the repairs to the water line won't be done by the water company.

Repairs need to be paid for by the idiot who caused the damage, especially since they went on your property without asking for permission. Of course, you may have to sue them....
