Haha! You sabotage yourself! I love it!
Mine is on the porch, needs cleaning and calibrateing that extra work is keeping me safe "for now".

I have the brooder filled with stuff so I can't use it on a whim... I will not empty it until I have eggs set

So...I abused my husband this morning.
Knocked him in the head with a fun sized snickers, left a mark.
Didn't do it on purpose he's a bad catcher.

Honestly changing shoes all the time can be a real pisser. Black plastic fake crocks for the coop, worn out old tennis shoes for the kennel, pink and white for the stores, short boots for short trips on the bike, tall boots and chaps for longer rides.

Who knew I would ever NEED that many shoes!?!?


I am in trouble! My brooder cage fits in the big coop.....right next to power.

I switched the nest boxes to smaller ones in the cochin coop. Less places for mice to hide. I am hoping I don't have to keep poison out long.

Wow you got alot of shoes Henny! Iv'e got coop sneakers, flip flops, boots, and like two pairs of jelly shoes.
Got a bunch of stripper shoes from my go-go days, need to ebay those my go-go is gone.
Henny, you ever put one of those live catch mousetraps in your coop?
Seriously they catch even the tiny mice.

When hubby gets home I will do a Home Depot run for a live trap.
That is a great idea for my cochin coop.
There is a little space next to the smaller nests. I could put one there.

I got another little tiny egg! It's only 33 grams. Pretty sure it's a d'Uccle egg. (Unless Pat's laying)

Could be Pat....my D'ucclle lays an almost white egg.

I have irrigation boots and crocs. I was able to go out in the crocs this morning.

Hi all! Finally finished work for the day and I’m going to get a bath. DH is putting Thing 1 to bed. We plan to go to the Smithzonian National zoo with our friends tomorrow. Normally we would take the Metro into the city, but with being 5.5 months pregnant I don’t want to consign myself to walking that much. So we are driving into DC. Pray for us!
