I've been randomly doing butt checks for bugs since I had mites and its been all clear. Today I grabbed Pat and checked for snotts then remembered a thread from a while ago about a big roo with a breast blister. So I lift his feathers and check his chest. No breast blister but mites. Check his butt... no mites there. He's so damn big they haven't found his butt! :lau

Often they hide in the vent until night time sometimes.

They are mites and not lice?
 
That sounds good, they'll go through it pretty quick because it will make them thirsty you could probably cut it to a half pill to a half gallon if you wanted faster results.

They were dark. I didn't see eggs so he could have just picked them up. Just found it funny they were not by his vent were you usually find them.

Their world is so big they didn't get to explore both poles.

The little ones seem a little better. At least not worse. The girls both have one side as a snotty nose but one good wipe has it cleared. Opal seems phlegmy still and sneezes. I know that’s bad but a less then 2 lb chicken sneeze is just about the cutest “bad” noise there is.
Clayton’s nose is better too. He still has snotty grossness on both sides but it’s clearing easier. They are eating and pooping so that’s good. I did give them ACS water today. My gut tells me I need to cut through the phlegm somehow.
I’ve even swabbed in their mouths to try and get it out. For micro dinosaurs they are feisty! I take it as a good sign.
