Official Squatch Watchers

Had to run out fast and close coop windows! The wind came up quick and we dropped temps fast!
Poor bitty babies needed their light back on.
Don't worry they were fine. Just needing it for the night.

Pulled all my seedlings back inside. Looks like one of the tomatoes I transplanted this morning didn't make it. That's fine I have way more than I will have room for.

Tiny jalapeno peppers and bell peppers looking good!

Clayton Crowed!!! Best way to be woken while sick. They are all way less snotty. I am too. But I am so glad he crowed.

I am really glad the snots are going away!

Rest recuperate and get better.

No more worries. She’s gone. Kind of a relieve, which must be a sign of getting to be a more “mature” chicken owner.
I hopr all has a good day and hopefully I can check in to read and not get too far behind today. #goals
Aww so sorry.
I like your pragmatism though.
It helps to be a mature chicken owner for sure.

Interesting fact, hens can get depo provera once a month for prevention of egg production. It'll work until we get the funds necessary for the spay.
Really? Sorry but that is so cool. I never would have guessed.

How is Gurtrude? Appetite good or at least still improving?

Got the mattress topper this morning, iv'e flopped on it and i'm unimpressed which means hubs will love it.
It feels so gross, firm but jiggly yet not soft in any kind of way.
It is latex, dunlop latex...ladies and gentlemen it feels creepy.:caf
That’s sad to hear.
I love my new mattress (5 months old already at this point) but we were so worried about it being too squishy that we went way too hard and now I secretly wish we’d gone a little bit softer.
I have been wondering if maybe we got a really good mattress topper it might balance out the difference.
Guess I’ll have to throw that idea out the window.

That’s so cool to know!

Can I ask how expensive that shot would be on a monthly basis?

We have tried several toppers and always ended up disappointed. If you do try one, I say try a 1.5-2”. 1” seems to be nothing and 3” is way too thick!
