Rise and Shine. I think my headache is gone. It had been increasing for the past few days and yesterday was awful. Pollen? Storm front that moved though? Maybe I can get stuff done today!

Our son is on a weekend Boy Scout hiking trip, I am anxious to hear how he survived the weekend. In a hammock, with a heavy wind & rain storm and temperature drop into the 30’s last night.

Supposedly my mom claims that since the house was part of my dad's inheritance when my gma died she has no claim to it so now I don't have to worry about what the heck I'm going to do about the chickens when my dad sells the house. My kids were asking everyone they know if they'd take all/some of the chickens. Their dad even offered to take them and even let me come over and see/ take care of them.. that's about the most awkward thing he's said to me since we got divorced 10+ years ago.

My grandmother lived with us.
Her hands were always delightfully cool. She also was a very commanding person.
So kind and loving... but when she was around, you knew she was the one in charge.

Our cat has a thing for drinking straws (like from a to-go cup).

Only problem is, after he steals it, he gives it to the dog.
And then like a like punk he gives the cup a whack and knocks it over just to watch it spill. :barnie

I know you love that crazy kitty. I am glad he feels better.

Speaking of kitty.....our old gal is on wet food these days. I have to go to Wal-Mart since most stores are not carrying the only kind she will eat. Oh goodie....Wal-Mart in the Sunday crowd. :p Better bring my bingo card!

I got a whopping 4 hours sleep. :(

It is 25° out. When I got out of bed at 3 am It was 22. Bitty birdies are all good. They do have a heat source, their water was not frozen either.

No sleep makes for a rough day.

No red on her wings......yet :p
It's pretty uniform across her chest.
I had a white EE chick that feathered in red in this same pattern. She was lost to egg binding. :(

Hubs will not be pleased if I got another oopster.
