Good morning. How are you? Your human family? Your animal family? Stay safe with the nasty weather we are expected to have!
We are all doing well. I haven't looked at the weather forecast yet, but I know they're getting pounded pretty good west of me and it's headed my way.

I think I would like to see a video of this wild thing. There might be enough interest for a new show, Roosters Gone Wild.
She might be able to advertise him as a mean rooster. I've heard many Hispanic chicken keepers like mean roosters because it keeps people away from their flock.

So, today, we are starting to move the chickens out on pasture. We got the 5 roosters in the bachelor flock moved out this morning. We need to work on the Poultry net that we used to divide them all winter because we added chick netting on the bottom about 1.5 years ago and that is starting to fall apart and several chickens have gotten tangled in it. Thankfully, none of them were killed by it. I'm also going to sort through my hens/pullets to see who I want to keep for breeding/laying. I'm going to give 12 to my mom and probably sell the rest. We have WAY to many girls and are getting way too many eggs.

We'll also be sweeping and mopping floors in the double wide today and moving in furniture that we aren't currently using.

Oh, I've been saying I'll get house pictures for you and I've been forgetting to do that. Here they are.

@Texas Kiki, thought you would be interested. We still need to get water, electric and septic sorted before we can move in.

FYI...think I might know why Tony is trying to kill her. Bless her hippy dippy heart. :caf
My other chickens are okay..the roosters don't chase me ever. When they chase the hens in my presence I chase them for about five minutes...I doubt they understand I am trying to make them feel like the hens do. Some have taken to perching up and away from them during the day and night. I would never eat my rooster. Does that same theory work on eating my chihuhahua when one pees on the floor..should I eat one to show the others not to pee? I dont have children (I wasnt able) so they are my babies and I love them all so much. I also havent eaten meat in 30 years so Im pretty sure Im not going to start now. Peace..Love...Hug your chickens.
