All the chickens in the main flock went into their mobile coop! None were hiding underneath the coop or trying to get back to the winter coop. 4 of the cull pullets and hens I have set aside for my parents in a PVC run were reluctant to go in, but a few whacks on the tarp side and someone walking towards them on the other side encouraged them to go into their coop very nicely.

The guineas were being crazy all day, but they too have put themselves away for the night.

I went down to the field thinking I'd have to help my FIL heard chickens into the coops. I was delighted to be wrong.

My Dad did that when the dog got out. The neighbors were not happy!
 
I got the original coop cleaned out , removed most of the litter. Finally! Now to wash the walls and repaint. And repair the feeder they broke, and the top of the nest box. Also want to build another feeder.
Can hardly wait to put the Mille Fleurs and bantam cochins in there!

Taking Sable for vaccines this morning. Yeah she won't like me for a few hours. :(

I will be putting bitty birdies in the broody run again.
Maybe I can get better pictures too.
The white one has red on the chest and red streaking on the back. It is rather pretty.
