I put Bitty and her kids out of the brooder.

:fl That no one dies.

Bitty knocked Peanut around for pecking a kid. She is a tough tiny broody! Peanut weighs almost 10 pounds.

Miss May took the opportunity to eat some chick feed. :yesss: at least she is eating.

I plan to section off a small bit of the big coop and the big run for the older chicks. Hopefully I will get them integrated by the end of next week. Thinking I should take that slow since there are some real meanies in that coop.
:hmm

Good morning folks!:frow

I’m back from your neck of the woods @rjohns39!

Daughter is all graduated from UTK! Go Vols!

She’ll be coming here for a week or so then flying off to Cali to begin her new life!

She’s got a great job and a boyfriend who loves her waiting for her. :celebrate:love
So happy, but man I’m going to miss that kid.
At least TN was only a day’s drive and a tank and a half of gas away. California... not so near. :hit
It is nice to hear that your DD is doing well!

I hope you get to see them often

You know we will want pics right?

Quail are so freaking cute.

It's a tough day here today. Hubs is really missing sugar and breads. I did buy whole grain bread and it is WAY better for us than the white bread but seriously......4 slices is still to much.

He's hungry and so am I. It makes for a cranky household.

Add some good fat to the diet.

Real butter is a neutral food and will fill you up and stop hunger. Also, a servring of nuts and make sure to have hard boiled eggs and hard cheese to snack on.

Remember to hit 30 plus grams of fiber a day too

The hunger will get better but it takes time.

Congrats to your daughter. She is always just a phonecall, text or facetime away. Welcome back

That's the best part about technology, it makes people who are far away seem much closer.. that said, my oldest brother lives in CA, I've seen him 4 times in 14 years and I think I've talked to him on the phone about as many times. lol I'd guess that you'll see/ talk to your daughter more often than that.
