Official Squatch Watchers

@apryl29 You seriously want to know where Lulu most likely picks up lice? Neighbor has a bird feeder that spills seeds and hulls on my side of the fence which brings birds a whole lot of birds.
Lulu likes to dustbathe in the hulls, nobody else does. Iv'e caught her sleeping in the hulls.
Iv'e asked ding dong to move the thing and he did....about 6 inches.
Iv'e also pushed it over, but it came back. So Lulu's drive to sleep and roll in bird garbage is the sole reason she's my lice machine. Iv'e investigated lol! :D

Nunny, when you do big hatches often like your lady does it isn't uncommon to start having poor rates and weirdness.
Dosen't make it better, but it does happen. Only she knows how she maintains her equipment and her birds in general. Try not to feel too bad.:)
Chicks I hosted for her. I feel bad enough the hatch itself didn't go well. About half the eggs in the 2 incubators didn't hatch at all. Now what did hatch seems determined not to survive.

Bitty was hilarious this morning.
I opened the pop door and she bolted out leaving the kids on the other side of the big birds.
They started screaming and she ran back in, clucked and ran back out clucking, forgot the kids again and ran back in. By then I had the wet chick feed down so she went crazy tuck tucking to them. It took like 5 minutes before she calmed down.

It sounds like you have a herd of derps over there. They'll probably end up drowning on their own spit.

Great news!

So where is she picking them up if no one else has them? I hope they're gone for good.

Oh wow. He's a lucky guy... now the question is if he's learned his lesson.

That's horrible. It annoys me how long it takes them to get back to people w/ results. How hard is it to make a phone call. After all my tests it took forever for the dr's office to call me even though the lady who did the test said a dr would look at them and make the report and send it to my dr in a couple days. Almost 2 weeks later I get a call that everything is ok, & said to call if I had any questions. SMH. $300 in bills for nothing.

We have that here too and it's so nice. I was able to see my results a week before the dr's office even called. It's nice not having to wait for them to get around to me.

Are these your chicks, or are they chicks you hatched for that lady?
The problem is, the nurses have to room patients all day, and make calls when they get a chance . And the Doctor has to sign off on the results and order meds or additional testing before the nurse even gets the chart. There are a lot to do. Plus get messages off the phone, etc. It is not an easy job, and not much appreciated.

Lol! Sounds like they're slowly turning Bitty into a derp. It is contagious! :gig

I get it that they are busy.......Hubs NEVER got his results from 2 years ago.
It seems excessively long when there is something like undiagnosed diabetes.
Even his recent visits with his doc he wasn't given the numbers from 2 years ago.

Yeah, I comment on stuff as I catch up. You guys are hard to keep up with. How are you feeling?
Really tired and worn out. I think I'm starting with prodromal labor (prelabor that can last for weeks) because I've been having a whole bunch of contractions that are more painful than braxton hicks, but aren't regular or as intense as normal contractions.

If I were you I'd be asking her when would be a good time to drop the kids off to their mom. Those were her own eggs, so in reality they were free chicks so I wouldn't be too worried. I get being disappointed that more didn't hatch, but I'm sure it's not her worst hatch rate. You did what you could for them, I doubt she'll be bothered by it.

Ugh.. Can you put something over there to block her from rolling in the parasite? I guess it could be much worse, ALL of them could think it's a good idea to hang out over there.

Oh, at my dr's office it's the receptionist who calls, maybe she's a nurse too, but she's def the person who answers the phone when you call to make an appt & is sitting at the window when you go in for an appt.

I think this should be a reminder to all of us to make sure that we follow up w/ the dr's office and if we have tests done to ask about them at the next appt & don't assume the dr will see them or remember they were ordered.
