I KNOW!!! He is blaming the inspectors now, saying that they did not have permission to turn on the water!I really really hope it gets done and done properly. I would be ticked off about his refusal to fix the damage.

There is even some of the metal siding laying around. Maybe we could practice.I would try to remove a whole section of the metal. I find it much easier to cut with a circular saw (metal cutting blade of course) when it is laid across saw horses as opposed to upright.
Got a question for you guys. This new place has a crappy shed, all sheet metal siding and the long wall faces WEST. Previous owner used it for the wood shed. It might be the future home of those lovely Barred Hollands I want very much. How hard would it be to cut openings in the metal siding and make those be open? I know that this is not very clear. The shed is a "lean-to" 8'x24' with one side on the garage not getting a window there. I want to open the 8' end by just removing the siding completely on the South. The North faces a creek, don't want access, and it has lots of shade. Do you think I should just take a Sawz-All to it and see what happens????

Going out there in an hour. That is why I am plotting!21 loved the pics.
Can I get a pic of the shed. I tend to agree with 21 on the saw but I have an awesome plunge saw for such tasks. And then there's always the metal grinder.

Your oak did not want to live without you. New silly owner gets what he asks for. Our old house had a 30 year-old pink grape fruit tree with the best fruit that I had babied. Buyer cut it down. And karma is a wonderful thing. My trusted Oak, after all his watering fell on the house.
Not even an issue. You should see the gunshot grade ear muffs we have! Photos and an estimate from my favorite handyman soon, it is a cool old place once we get done with this pissing match. GUYS! That seller thinks we have our heart set on his place, maybe he is right.Take pics!! Lots of pics!
TH is right about the angle grinder as a good option.
Either way I recommend good ear protection.
