Official Squatch Watchers

The city of Prescott has an ordinance that these animal activities must be done in a building.
Nothing like that here but you really can't go half a mile and not see some sort of critter smut either. :D
LOL That's too funny! When my oldest was a baby her dad was holding her and he didn't have a shirt on. She turned her head and tried to nurse from him.. Um.. you're not going to get anywhere w/ that.

It's like the people who go to the zoo and freak out b/c the find some animals mating.
My mom had a talent of bringing out the dirty in the monkeys.
Never failed, if you were with her you were going to see some monkey junk.:gig

I'm stalling.
Today is clean the coop or at least the majority floor and roosts.
Anyway iv'e got sucky hay that I hate dealing with.
50lb compressed bale, dumb plastic torture device handle and it is bound with I think three tight pain in the butt to cut plastic bands.
Got to get it from the porch to the coop then fight with it.
Not rearing to go for some reason.:hmm

Plastic seems to be on more and more things! We used to get nice reusable baling wire on our straw bales! Showing my age here;)

I'd love that, even twine would be o.k.
I cut my finger on the plastic last time I got the crap bale.

It got hot out here. I am hiding inside with the dogs where it is a cool 72°.

I have tons to do but blech on dealing with it in the hot sun.
Another stalling reason, it is like a jungle out there.

I just keep getting rain and more rain... was out clearing the trenches in the dark last night.
I did put a bunch of sand in the coop but I think I'm going to switch it.... over the dirt in the back is gravel. They have not disturbed it as much as I was thinking they would and it's easier to clean then in thought. So I'm going to try and rotate sand and gravel and see how that goes. Then add more gravel when I have money to get more....

(I'm picking up death layer chicks tomorrow)

I would also be interested to see them!

They will be little fuzz butts but I can't wait till they grow! I got to see first years in real and they looked into my soul.

For real, the eyes on them! I got the opportunity to get some chicks for I price I can't refuse. (Not the $99 that's normally charged)

So off to this adventure.

Got the old hay out plus everything in the big and middle coop section just got to sweep, debug, and put back hay and stuff.
I'm taking a break, got hot and sweaty crap is biting me unknown if bugs are real or imaginary.
Nature kept creeping in close too.
Coop had skinks, I heard my chain link fence rattle so I looked.
Normally rattle is a chicken where it shouldn't be, today though it was a fawn so there is a fawn in the yard.
Who needs a zoo? :lau
