The noise and energy is remarkable! When baby Shuri was about 2 weeks old, someone pulled out one of her tail feathers and it was bleeding. No big deal really just needed cleaned up so the others would stop pecking her. I had to get DH to restrain her just so I could clean her off and dab on some betadine. That should not be a two person job for a bird that tiny! And the screams! My goodness! They really are a hoot though. I love them already.

If you treat a bird like a kid, it screams like one!! LOL I would never hear the end of it if i pulled a blood feather from a Parrot -- they remember and give you the "stink eye"! You have to wrap them up in a towel to do a one person vet job.

4 miles. More than one truck trip, the first one is for the Guy Tool Stuff. 11x14 shed, packed and moving Fri, 7-12. Veteran's Moving Co. -- is on the calendar!

That is awesome that it is a short move.

Those long moved where everything has to be ready and done at once are nerve racking.

Not the shortest move we have made, once we moved one block. BUT, since it was such a short distance, DH put my sewing machine on the back of the pick-up, not secured. Needless to say, lost one sewing machine in the intersection! ONE Block!
