Getting pictures of this group of kids is harder than if they were actual children. The phone just pushes the nope button, except Kim bless her glitter loving soul.
Best of luck getting pics of your bunch lol.:lau
The derps are probably Bitty's dream kids they'll need her forever.
You say she likes mothering.:)
I will try for pictures of the Dip & Dot girls too.
They have flecks in their small beards. I think they are cute. :p

Yeah Bitty will mother those kids a loooooong time. :lau

I try for pics and they run away screaming.
Maybe if I grabbed some glitter nail polish and promised to paint their nails. :D
I am hoping I can sneak up on them while they are sitting on their chair this morning.....
You know Squatch Watcher like. :lau

Yeah Bitty lives to mother. She will keep it up as long as they let her.

Morning y'all.

Still on coffee mode. :caf

Lots of early morning errands today. From a feed run to paying all the bills and even trying to find decent flooring for that small bedroom.
I do not want to order it online and Home Depot is frustrating in that "not at your store" and "online only" thing.
It is just a small lightly used room so I don't need or want super expensive laminate.
:barnie Is it so much to ask that stores have stuff in stock?
Looking at one on lumber liquidators site....it is a strong maybe.

Man, my hour or so of sleep after I get everybody fed got interrupted i'm still not ok with that.
Hubs woke me up to ask if a groundhog in the yard was a problem....seriously? Not like he has never seen one, he's eaten one!
Wake me up over a yard hamster.:barnie

Oh you're evil! You know squash are terrifying. :lau

Lol, my dad was a fruit tree maniac figs, plums, apples, pears, muscadine grapes, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries but those grow wild.
His fruit madness seriously helps on the food bill during the summer.
Derps don't get the everything is food drive until after they start to lay, until then everything is out to kill them. When it happens though it is bad.
Can't believe you went out with a water bottle...you must be crazy!:gig
Yard hamster made me LOL for real. :gig

I took some superworms out for my skittish kids, they love them but watching them snatch a worm and try to run from something that is already in their mouth is beyond hilarious.
Fun didn't last long, big kids saw the worms and they're all buisness.
I think the littles at least got a few a piece. Hobo still isn't fond of superworms, she's a mealworm only kind of girl. :)

Yeah, strange fruit can only mean certain death it is ALL out to get them.:lau

Lol! I'm literally the first thing mine saw and i'm still the devil 99% of the time.
I'm only o.k at morning bread bite time and dinner even that is a strictly no touching situation with the girls the boy could absolutely care less.
But yeah, once an egg falls out of their butts they don't fear you, fruit, big bugs, all the truly terrifying things. ;)
Most of mine are terrified of people still, most will come if you have treats, but Toothless and Clover, last year's chicks, are not having it. If I even look at them too directly they're run away. If I try to toss some food directly to them, they run away.. They've been pooping out eggs for a while now.. they're just afraid of everything. Most of my eggers aren't petting friendly either. I'd say about 1/2 my flock will allow me to get close enough to pick them up, the others run if they seem me coming too close to them.

Best of luck to you. It's bill week for me too. I've got to wait until I get child support to pay the rest.
I hope you find something for your floor. We have carpet everywhere but the bathroom (yes, even the kitchen) and I hate it. If you're super desperate you could toss down a big area rug til you find what you want. Do you guys have the Habitat for Humanity ReStore out that way?

I want to squish that so bad.

Union negotiations started this week and the union rep asked if he could share my email where I go off about having to buy groceries w/ a credit card b/c I can't afford food working here. Oddly no one in management has spoken to me since. Today is the last day of the scheduled negotiations for now. The director spent most of the day yesterday in his office w/ his door closed. The union rep, after I went off on him (sorry, not sorry), said they were asking for a $15 starting pay for our step 1, then it goes up from there. We only have 3 steps. I'm a step 2 right now, but I've been here for 20 years so I'm 1/2 way up the pay scale as it is. It doesn't make sense to anyone that there's only 3 steps. One library I was looking for a job at has their sys admin starting at a step 14 at about $23/ hr. I'm guessing they figured unskilled work was a step one: circ clerk, delivery drive & previously IT; step 2 is circ coordinators, drivers who needed a cdl, and currently IT; step 3 is degree work, reference and ys librarians, tech serv.
While I don't have a degree I think IT should be at the same level as degree work since I freaking do everything (or at least I would if my boss would do her job).
