Yard hamster made me LOL for real. :gig

Most of mine are terrified of people still, most will come if you have treats, but Toothless and Clover, last year's chicks, are not having it. If I even look at them too directly they're run away. If I try to toss some food directly to them, they run away.. They've been pooping out eggs for a while now.. they're just afraid of everything. Most of my eggers aren't petting friendly either. I'd say about 1/2 my flock will allow me to get close enough to pick them up, the others run if they seem me coming too close to them.

Best of luck to you. It's bill week for me too. I've got to wait until I get child support to pay the rest.
I hope you find something for your floor. We have carpet everywhere but the bathroom (yes, even the kitchen) and I hate it. If you're super desperate you could toss down a big area rug til you find what you want. Do you guys have the Habitat for Humanity ReStore out that way?

I want to squish that so bad.

We do have a habitat restore here. Ours has lots of diors, some windows and odds and ends. I think most really good usable items end up at Bennys.
My kitchen cabinets are from HFH. They are older but in good shape. I think I paid like $1200 for $20,000 worth of cabinets. It made my kitchen remodel doable.

Good morning! I overslept pretty darn good today, thankfully nobody died.
I stayed up way too late watching spongebob, there are a couple seasons I haven't seen and time got away from me. :)

Aww, little chubby girls! Those two have got some really neat colors going on always liked the fancy ones.;)

Wow, that's an amazing deal! We live really close to the Kraftmaid plant (like 15 min) and they have a thing where they sell their stuff cheaper if it's defective, or like if someone ordered something custom and it didn't make it there, or something wasn't right, like the color was wrong.. Never had the need to use it, but I know it exists.

& You're birds are beautiful, even if they are a bit special.

My kitchen was such a sad thing when I bought the house.
Seriously I had 17" to the left of the sink and 18" to the right for counters. That was it. There was a tiny wall oven and a range top that literally as in the corner, just one drawer and one upper cabinet. Super sad sack of a falling apart kitchen.
I tore out a wall and made the dining room part of the kitchen. I did leave room for built in seating and up to a 3x5 table. Need to get around to that at some point. :hmm
We have been using the 3' round table still. I may build the new one as a drop leaf.....eventually. Not super high on my to do list because the round one serves its purpose.

Edited to add.... The entire kitchen was rewired, New subfloor and tile, bead board ceiling, lights and appliances, and counters for $4800. I stretched every dollar til I could hear dead presidents scream.

Kim being distracted by glitter in rather funny. I like glitter but I am far from girly jewelry wearing kinda girl. LOL

I texted one of my bosses last week...”Can you believe I’ve worked for you almost 8 years now.” I got back “WOW really. What do you want?” I haven’t had a raise in probably 5 years.... yep I asked for a raise via text. LOL

My sister bought cabinets from Kraftmaid that way. Worked out pretty well. The only issue is you have to buy and take them the same day. So unless you have a truck and/or trailer you are stuck renting one and hoping you find something.

That takes a lot of DIY labor! Nice job on the screaming presidents, LOL

Good for you! I hope you got a fat raise.. we're going to pretend that it's all going to go right into the chickens.

I'm not even sure yet. LOL I have this job because of the freedoms it gives. I basically set my own hours. I have almost no co-workers. And I don't talk to 2 of my 3 bosses but to send them my hours. I like it that way.

The phone case is one of those rubber ones with glitter and water in it, Kim has liked it since she hatched.
She'd stand on it and chase the sparklies. The other ones liked the phone side better, but i'd flip it for her.:)
