Just got word that the blood hound mommy gave birth to 8 girls and 5 boys.


Holy moly that's a big litter!

Got a website for the breeder. Oh dear Lord they are big saggy beasts.

We are scheduled for a meeting with the dogs Sunday evening.
We get first pick.

My boys were bearded so lots of hand towels lol.
Tilly is a drooler too lol.

Gross as tater but not unexpected.

Mom's name is Willow. This pup will be papered so gotta give her a good name.

They're really affectionate, which is nice since they're big.
But OMG they are so strong, like crazy strong.
And face smooshing, you'll do it.

No kidding, it is going to be messy.

I am getting old enough I really would rather get a small dog. The pulling is horrible, the counter surfing is irritating, the baths are challenging, but the snuggles are nice.

This is hubs choice........I don't think he gets to pick the next pet.

I do ALL the poop cleaning.

Drooling is a big NO for me. My ACD is a licker and it makes me taterin crazy! She licks herself, the carpet, the empty water bowl, (there is a full one next to it) and me. That's the worst...me. Most of the time I have to stop her, she won't just quit. She gets this stoned look on her face and it's just creepy. And gross!

You doing all the poop is poop though.
A lot of big crappers for one person, and I know you get to handle many other dog shenanigans.
I'd go on turd strike, or build a mountain so others could appreciate the scale of the job.

I’ve been busy loving on the Milk Drinker and trying to manage Thing 1. Oddly enough, I think I’ll spend more time on BYC when I go back to work. I don’t think I’ve spent more than 5 hours on my computer since the Milk Drinker was born.

Oh, a cute story!
We were trying to figure out why Thing 1 was saying “I want to go to hungry!”

DH realized he had misinterpreted statement I had made to him a couple minutes before.

“You’re going to go hungry if you don’t finish your dinner.”


I was going to upload a cute picture, but it was on the cloud and taking forever to download.
