Stuff happens.:lau

My friend's dog had those, they called them fatty tumors & did nothing about them. I hope he's ok.

Sounds like Albert hangs out at your house b/c you're part skunk.

Holy wow. Yay for the $50. How long was he missing? He was probably just excited to see a human. You have the craziest adventures!

Thanks for the warning. I've always eaten it dry... I don't want to risk the oreo incident where it breaks off & falls to the bottom of my cup, esp if it's coffee.

Same... but I can only dream of being 105.

Feed the murdered pumpkin to the chickens & replace it w/ one similar in size. Best to destroy the evidence.

Many years ago when my parents were living at the old house there was auto repair place in the old car dealership on the corner. I walk out to my car and there's 2 HUGE danes walking up the drive way. I knew they belonged the the auto repair guys, but was kind of worried about getting mauled. Surprisingly they were pretty nice and followed me back across the street to their owners. Told the guy they'd wandered down the road and he didn't seem too worried about it. They were friendly enough that I could see them jumping in the car w/ someone and getting dognapped. Big as horses, one was brown & the other was dalmatian print. Thankfully they were not jumpy.

Jack has the fatty lumps but also a couple that worry me. They are on the skin surface. I am going to do my best not to worry.
For his age he is doing pretty good actually.

This morning has me making chicken and rice for Tilly. :hmm
For the last 5 days she has been waking up with empty tummy syndrome. That means puking just bile then not wanting to eat all day which just continues the issue.

Girl needs to eat! :barnie

Do you at least have an ice pack you can put on your cheek? Maybe put a bit of water in a ziploc & lay it flat to freeze. I guess there's worse ways you could hurt your butt. This'll teach you to venture out front.

How's your piggy project going?

Hopefully it's nothing serious. Will they be able to check all that stuff when he's getting his teeth cleaned?

Yes they "could" check all that during a teeth cleaning. That would bring the grand total to $1,100.
I don't think his lumps and bumps are serious at all. Just ugly. They don't bother him. They have also been there several years. Yes the old vet took a look but was not focussed on him as the patient at the time.
He is seriously super old for his size. Anesthesia is a huge concern.
Hubs and I discussed it last night. For us and him the risks outweigh the reward.
There is a clinic twice a year that will do dental cleaning with no anesthesia. We will take him next time they hold it.

Oh and I got a cup and a half of straight dog food into Tilly. Not a full serving but far better than zero. I will see if she will eat more at noonish.

I think I have a sickness, for some reason I had to get it.
Now I have a set...oh...my...word :th

You'll be warm AND stylish! :D

I am trying hard to catch up on things before puppy day. Lordy! When I got really sick everything went to pot!

Today....paint the kitchen. That has been on the list for 2 tatering years.
:th

Not that I am even 60% better.
Still no energy, still migraines, still feel like carp every day.

Ok enough whining. Back at it. :hmm

That's what happened w/ my friend's dog. Pretty much they didn't seem to bother him so they didn't do anything about it. He was fine for years too. I get being concerned that it's a problem, but if he's had them for a while and he's doing ok, then it's probably not something to worry about at this point.
I can see worrying about the teeth cleaning though. Jasmine had a heart murmur and I worried that she wouldn't make it through. I get why they would rather they're asleep during that, but it's still scary. It's nice that they offer the cleanings while they're awake. Jasmine was a cat and she probably would have killed everyone twice, esp since she had teeth that needed removed.

That's actually kind of nice looking. I hope it looks nice in person.

What is it about babies that make you want to clean everything you haven't done in forever. Can't wait for puppy day!!!

I do a very heavy cleaning every fall.
I go a bit nutty with it too. Everything out of every cabinet/closet cleaned sorted re-organized and put back.
I hate "spring" cleaning. Like seriously why? Everyone will be outside for MONTHS!
In the fall everyone will be coming INSIDE. It just makes more sense to me to have a cleaner place for winter. :p

On a high note.....I decided I like the dark smokey blue so that will be what the lower cabinets get......if I EVER find time to paint those.
They really could use a facelift that way. :hmm

Imma choke Delilah today! :barnie
She is being a SNARKY ARSE! Poor Sable being smallest gets the brunt of that carp.
This old lady says oh he!! NO to that!
I would bet she did not eat last night. She gets like that when she is hangry.

Isn't tomorrow Raisin day Henny or am I trippin?
You said 24th right? :)

Yup tomorrow is Raisin day. :lau

:barnie I have so many chores and I don't even know how many Raisins to expect!

I figure I will be super busy with River for at least 2 months then my son's pup will be shortly after that so ...... It never ends.

I want the home maintenance stuff out of the way.
