I let my chickens out last night for about 30 minutes. I stayed with them the whole time, except for one white one who doesn't know what Stay together means. First time since the murder. I'm sure they wanted to spread out more, but I couldn't handle that. I lured them back into the coop w/ treats.
Loki & Jackie are molting like mad now. Bad timing. Most everyone else is still getting their tails back in still.
I saw Tubbs on the trail cam again, but he doesn't seem to come around when I'm there. I think he's avoiding me b/c the last time I saw him I was trying to remove his ticks.
Who's Tubbs?

I don't know what this bush is but it sure gets pretty during cool weather.View attachment 1964599 View attachment 1964600

I have no idea but it is stunning both in color and shape.

Your temps sound lovely.

Water here was frozen. :hmm
That reminds me I did not gather eggs last night.
:barnie Probably all frozen and split.

Birds got warm mash with mackerel today. Crooky is looking so much better with new feathers everywhere.

Im shooting for to either be so majestic im irresistible or so freaky a person just can't get far enough away.:p
Ok, sounds nicer than "that red bush".

I didn't collect my eggs either! I just remembered when I read somebody's post about leaving their eggs out overnight.

I don't know either, it of course is green in summer and it blooms white very small blooms with no scent.
Chickens like it since it is pretty much an umbrella.
These temps wont last long, i'll be in your boat very, very soon frozen water, eggs...ugh.
Glad Crooky is less nude.:)

If you find out what it is let me know! If it could grow here it would be quite a showpiece.
