Good morning folks

So very glad Tilly's doing so much better

We are too. Those first 4-5 days home were frightening. None of us held out much hope.

Going to be a dry weather day here. Yesterday it was cold rain. I am hoping for more melting.

We have had a lot of melting but at night all that turns to ice.

Good morning, or goo morning for us sickos lol!
I overslept, im blaming nyquil though that stuff is nasty waaay grosser than I remember it tasting.



Thats about all I get is bird time Henny, the old cat dosent need much and the fish could care less.
That really only leaves hubs and squirrel Bob besides the birds.
Speaking of birds, Susan has a wonky eye this morning no idea if she got pecked or what.
Eye is ok but outside is swollen, I carried her to breakfast which was fun iv'e never carried her before.
She took it pretty well once I got her on my hand and snugged up close.
I can't dislike hobby lobby, they are pretty much the only choice if I actually need anything, there are walmarts but the craft section is sad.

Honest to goodness I really enjoy all your chicken adventures.
It is to crazy here for me to get much time with my birds. I am sure they would be tamer if I could get more bird time.
Come spring I will get more bird time.



We don't have many choices.
Michael's doesn't carry fabric anymore here (and is next town over), Wal-Mart didn't have what I need, and Joanns was very poorly stocked.
Hobby Lobby has a huge selection of good quality quilting fabric....a little higher than Joanns sale price but still less than the same brand at Joanns.
I do understand the not liking their corporate policies.

Our Wal-Mart craft area is very sad indeed.

We do have some elite quilt shops......elite = $$$.
Fabric (exact same as hobby lobby) is 3x the cost. I cannot justify that.

I just looked online and hobby lobby is having a sale on all fabric.
That makes things even easier on me.
It is 40% off so what I am looking for is $5.39/yard.

Her eyeball is fine, but it basically looks like somebody punched her in the eye on a chicken level lol!
She's mean as crap, im thinking Hobo did it just going by the beech scale out there.
And yay sale!

Hubs just called....apparently the tow yard is no longer "secure". Someone hopped the fence and drove an impounded truck through the gate.....landing in the deep ditch across the road.
I think they perhaps did not fully plan that out.


Yeah it goes into the police evidence yard in the next town over now.

x2. I get that some people need help, but I'm neck deep in my own carp.

Tilly actually ate this morning!!! She ate 3/4 cup of puppy kibble mixed with her regular kibble.


I still gave her 10oz of slurry because antibiotic and nausea but she totally ate!! Stood at the dish and ate!!

Yay!!!!! Hope she's still doing well.

I went into a Hobby Lobby once! Didn't like it at all - the products or their prices.

It's like someone shoved a few rows of a craft store into a pottery barn, then added an extra 0 to the price tag.
