Glad to hear you and your girls are well prepared. Sending best wishes to all your family:hugs
Thanks. Hopefully we're all prepared enough to get past the freak out stage.

I got a few cases of water last trip to Walmart, like I always do.. No one was freaking out. Toilet paper was all gone. We are pretty well set for food. But if the power goes out, we are going to have a ton of food to eat out of the freezer!
Same! Freeze stuff, pasta, & rice is mostly what we have. We might even get to the stuff my kids have always refused to eat.

Good news the hose reaches!
I can squirt the turds off like all the other fortunate people with a decent hose.
Im way happier than I should be about it, iv'e been singing a chicken pooped up version of L7's Sh*tlist all day long.
Seriously so much effort saved, so much poop I don't have to scrub, rinse and squeegee.
OMG ya'll it is like Christmas, just with bird turds.💩🎅:woot
Yay! It's the little things.

Those derps crap large and often, my little thing should at least be rated midsize lol.
Hubs just messaged from Sam's club he said the paper product famine has struck Podunk.
Lordy, lordy if people start butt racing in their yards im boarding up the windows. :(
Thanks. Hopefully we're all prepared enough to get past the freak out stage.

Good morning! Sitting in the plant light watching awful television.
In other words another fine Sunday morning lol! :)

Hi guys, good morning!

We made it safely back home yesterday. It was an interesting trip to say the least.

Thursday, we left at 7am and arrived at DH's grandmother's nursing home at 2pm. The nursing home has a guesthouse that visitors can use when seeing relatives. DH's grandmother insists on paying for the room when we (and other family members) come to visit her. She can't really take extremely long visits so she doesn't mind if we make other plans while we are staying. After visiting her, we got ready and went to my aunt's funeral. It was nice, but WAY too long, particularly with two boys 3 and under (we were there from 5:30 - 8:30pm). It was 10pm before we got food and made it back to the guesthouse. Friday morning, we relaxed and did hardly anything before meeting DH's grandmother for lunch. This is when we heard the first rumblings of them not allowing outside visitors. They let us stay because we were already there. After lunch, while the boys were sleeping, I went shopping. After that we visited my MIL's best friend who lives 20 min from the guest house. We had a really nice dinner and we stopped at Costco on the way out. It was busy, but I've seen MUCH longer lines around Christmas. It was more that certain stocks of items weren't available (tp, lysol, regular bottled water, purelle) but we weren't looking for that stuff anyway. Saturday, we wake up, pack up and were going to say goodbye to DH's grandmother before leaving. They wouldn't let her come out to say goodbye even though she was allowed to see us yesterday:rolleyes:. They stopped her at the doors. We did stop at a grocery store to pick up some ordinary staples that we get and the organic produce section was obliterated. Every single potato in the store was also gone. We are so glad to be home. Our church has limited our services and all the schools are cancelled even though there hasn't been a single case in WV (since I heard last night). We stayed home today because we all got a little cold while we were away. Definitely not "THE virus" though.

O.k, weird day I knew was coming today just keeps on topping expectations
Today marks the 5th year since my mom passed and I always get some wtf?
Guess what the spirit realm gave me this year?
Not gnomes, not a ton of diabetic supplies either.
This year I got a scrawny red mystery.rooster , iv'e had an all day fence pacing crowdown.
Thanks mom.:)
