The back is just another in a long list of carp that hurts to much to often. 🤔
It is the most debilitating too dadgum it.

38 babies!!!!

It's a good thing Cinnamon my Swedish Flower has mommy brain at the moment. At 3 she decided she would go broody for the first time. The nest she chose is the most popular. They break eggs on accident shuffling for position. I tried moving her but she wasn't having it. So I gave her 2 golf balls to sit on about a week before hatch. I brought her 5 fresh hatched littles and she looked at them like they were aliens from another planet. No pecking but no sweet talking either. I tucked them under her and waited. She took those so I moved her to the new medium coop where it is safer. She was happy there. So now she has 12 babies!
Not wanting the chicks to have access to a run I made a screen door.

It slides right in the tracks of the solid door which I then put on top for weight. I think I'll be making more of these for other pop doors. I can't seem to get away from the hardware cloth!

Well sheesh Henny you never get to rest, that list is going to stay big.

Tomorrow...load debris in truck for haul off.
Debris includes trees I cut down, blackberry stuff I cut out of the fence and some 15' long canes, lumber that was decaying and was replaced in the chicken run redo, metal, and small branches.
When my son gets home and it is 85° out I can go unload it all.

Saturday...get 3 bags of dog food, 3 bags chicken food, assorted other stuff and then after that is all unloaded push project motorcycles out of the side yard and shove the boat out. THEN I get to weed eat that area and pull weeds out of my flower beds.

Sunday....if the ground has dried enough I get to rototill the 14x14 garden bed, rake and plant. If it's to wet I will be hand turning that.

None of that included any of the chicken coop cleaning, duck coop finishing, or regular house carp needing done.

Yup no break here.

Much better hatch with the Brinsea? Are you in love with it yet?

That storm we had blew a transformer! We were without power for like 1.5 hours!!

Yeah, nobody died.

I am just glad hubs cleaned the gutters before it hit.

My back is still out. Really getting sick of hurting all day and all night.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

I went to two feed stores today. I didn't find much at TSC except a nice garden tool and snacks.
At Rural King, they had more chicks than I have ever seen in one place . I got suckered into buying 30 pullets Lol. The bins were all full and there were boxes that had not been unpacked.
How could I leave them there like that?
