Official Squatch Watchers

Today is day 12 for the first batch of eggs. Thinking I'll candle tonight and see what needs to go.
Also since I'm going to have so much going on I'll probably make a thread just for all this.
Wish me luck!

PS. What do you all use for brooders? I'm thinking of converting a few plastic totes into some.

When you make a thread for your hatching progress....please link it. I know I would like to follow along.

I have only ever hatched ducks and geese.....well actually the adult ducks and geese did all the work and that was decades ago.

Good morning folks :frow

Well, I got the news yesterday... When Sue get's out of the Hospital she'll be transferred to a rehab facility. Anywhere from 4 days to 4 weeks. It will just depend on how long it takes her to connect the dots between her brain and feet. She can stand on her own, but is struggling with getting her feet to do what she wants. They removed the feed tube last night and a bunch of her IVs yesterday. Hopefully her drain will come out tomorrow. her numbers continue to be great. Also she's spending her days in the chair rather than the bed.

Good evening folks :frow

Sorry Rae, that't just crazy....

Sue had a good day today. She had her follow up angiogram and again it was negative. The neuro said that this is a good thing. Apparently her bleed came from a week spot in a vein that repaired itself after the bleed. We're starting the steps to get her home..
That's fabulous! So pleased for both of you!

I use totes while in the house and wooden brooders outside.

I didn't even answer the brooder question. That'll teach me to have my coffee BEFORE hopping online. :hmm
