Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning everyone. :frow

I am praying for a good day for Sue.

Another hot dry day here but they say we may get rain tomorrow.

I will try and get things weeded, mowed, trimmed so I am not doing it when wet. Then I will hope for actual rain....you know....more than 12 drops.

:frow Good morning Henny, have a great day. Hope you get the rain you want, when you want it. But that's asking a lot. :gig

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Wow, they grow like weeds.
Looks good, but with all that roof, have you considered a rain catch system to water them?
Looking good Cap.
Thanks.
I have thought about it but not implanted such a system yet. May in the future though.

On a side note we are having a monsoon right now lol

Made a temporary tray for the bottom on the quail eggs incubator to help me with keeping track of turning them. That slick plastic grid that they use in the bottom of the Little giant incubators is just too slick to try to manage quail eggs on lol. I would turn 1 and 4 others would we'll go wherever! I will have to change it out when it's time for lockdown because 1/2 wire would not be good for that lol.

Anyway that's what I've been into this morning and now I'm about to head to work. I hope you all have a good day!

Well, I ordered a $200 1000w/800W inverter generator. My in-laws ordered one for themselves as well. It should have enough power to run my incubators, internet, my work computer/extra monitor, and maybe another computer... maybe. The inverter portion will make the power clean enough to run sensitive equipment. We could also plug in our propane oven so that the oven portion and the range lighters will work. We can get the stove top to work during an outage (if we use a lighter), but not the oven.

We figure it will be a good stop gap while we save money and do research on getting a whole house generator. It will also be a nice generator for on farm projects that are away from a power source.

Good morning folks :frow

Rae, good find on the generator.
