Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning everyone. :frow

Everyone made it through the night with no accidents. :woot

In the chicken reduction act of 2020 I had 8 birds in the small coop with the hoop run. Yeah they didn't like it and started picking on Rita. I moved them into the big house and put the cochins back in the small house. Now the pressure is on to section off some of the run for them. The concrete on the post I had to add should be set so IF the dogs aren't SUPER needy today perhaps I can get it done.
Once things calm down for that group I will still reduce their coop space to 7x8 and use the other 7x8 to store all their belongings and some garden tools. We will see how it goes.
:frow Good morning Henny, have a great day
Good morning! Im going to have to start turning in at 8 or 9 to get any sleep if these kids don't drastically improve.
Hobo's two got fairly mobile overnight and let the dominique half run wild.
Scratching in the hay, running and scream peepin all night long!
Poor little cockrel had to wear some undies, he still had a little yolk bubble so teeny underoos were fabricated.
Got to say, they stayed on really well im amazed.
Yolk bubble isn't gone this morning it is much improved though.
The only quiet kid was the car alarm lol!
I thought that was pretty ironic.:)
:frow Good morning Chicky, have a great day

Good morning everyone. My whole body hurts today. Idk why. Hoping I'm not getting sick.
:frow Good morning Daniel, try to have a great day. Hope those pains run away and you're not getting sick. Feel better quickly.:hugs

Umbilical hernia chick died overnight. I had one pip but DIS and one egg that is showing no movement. I have 3 healthy looking babies though. I think the 50% hatch rate proves that my decision to stop hatching after my incubator empties was a good one. Besides, I have more than enough mouths to feed. I’m going to go through my birds and pick out the top 10%. The rest I’ll cull or sell.
