Official Squatch Watchers

No I Never salted my tanks. Could be why if they needed that. I knew some fish needed salt like puffers bumblebee goby and other borderline brackish fish but did not know they where in that category.
I tried to add salt to my guppy/molly tank and they loved it. But, I stopped getting fry and started losing my mollies. I can’t say there’s a direct connection, but I’ve stopped using it and now have fry again, but still lost another molly. :(. I don’t have a spectrometer so I was probably inconsistent with my salinity.

:frow Good morning Cappy, have a great day
:frow Good morning Daniel, have a great day and do drink lots of fluids and add electrolytes

pssst, there's a photo contest starting soon where you can win one. :p
How were you able to respond to so many in one post?

If you are on mobile if you scroll all the way down to the bottom there is a link at the very bottom of the page with the byc store. I don't know about PC since I've not used a PC yet for viewing the forum.
Thanks! I’ll definitely check it out.

Maybe or maybe just went to fast. Might try adding it back very slowly with water changes. I know it's recommended with puffers to start them out in freshwater and then very slowly and gradually increase the salinity until you have them in brackish water.

Good morning Bob, how are you doing these days?

That sounds like a plan, but I need to get something done with this tooth. Asap.
Have you tried a small dab of clove essential oil for the pain? You can dilute it with a carrier oil like canola or sunflower, whatever you yave on hand, if you find it’s too strong on it’s own.
