Official Squatch Watchers

Awwww Bob....you have seen the "quality" of the pics I take.....it is better if I just buy the book. :lau

I picked a grocery bag of mostly over sized beans and another of usable cucumbers. Several cukes were big enough a zucchini would have been proud. The green bell peppers and tomatoes are needing picked too.
JUST a week and a half of neglecting the garden and the weeds are THICK and healthy. 🥺

I will have to go to the grocery store and go get dog food today so that will definitely throw my gumption out of whack. I seriously hate shopping.....always have.

We will see if I can keep rolling all day. Lord knows I have literally WEEKS worth of things needing done.
Weeds seem to materialize out of thin air here! The Monsoon Rain was here for one day, not enough water for anything except the weeds.

Good morning everyone!

Holy crap, you guys went on a tear last night and this morning. It’s been many years since I’ve had fish. I had guppies and loaches. All different kinds. My favorites were my Yo-yos (a couple of which got about 8 inches before I sold them. They were massive) my lonely zebra loach (who started it all but I was never able to find a buddy for him) and my java loaches. I also had hillstreams, which were interesting.
:frow Good morning Rae, have a great day

We did the shopping thing yesterday. It's done for a while... We had a bunch of stuff we can't get locally so we drove an hour to get to a publix.

I'll be doing the garden cleanup today. I see dill pickles in my very near future with over-ripe cucumbers. I've got giant squash and sticks where my tomatoes were. darned horn worms are killing me. Black light is ordered but I fear they'll have done me in before it gets here.

Do you have birds other than chickens?
Now that you ask . . . My avatar is my best bird friend, Dylan. She is an African Grey, 26 years old. She says, "Come here" when she wants company. I swear she knows if I have a bad day. She is afraid of the chicks, though!

My garden is at the tearing out the old stuff the former owner had stage. Overgrown evergreen junipers for the "low maintenance hedge" popluar 20-30 years ago. The stumps are 8" across. That is the sunniest area for the things like tomatoes -- which need some pampering here. Dill pickles, YUM!

Good morning!
This little wonky butted chicken child and my shut eye time aren't mixing well lol.
His butt is shrinking and his mouth is growing.
Poor guy is shaped like his father, no neck, bow legged and no actual butt.
He has Hobo's face so he appears perpetually constipated even when he's asleep.
Now that he's fully expanded, he prefers to sleep standing head down, tush up until he falls over and scares himself into a peep screaming fit.....just like his dear old dad.:)

Yes, they are getting better 😊 not as many, not as painful (most of the time ), and and I have longer pain free periods, many days. Thanks for asking 😊

They are so adorable 😍
So glad to hear this Sue! Yeah, I can hardly keep myself from keeping all of these babies.

8”! I thought they only get 4”. At least I have another tank to put them in if they do get that big. Have you seen the panda loaches? They’re my favorite, just don’t tell the rest ;).

I'll be honest with you I hadn't ever expanded your avatar picture and for some reason thought it was a monkey lol
After I saw it now it's clearly a parrot. I have a slight phobia of parrots though. They make me really anxious and if they're a large one will even kind of scare me. I was attacked by a green parrot of some kind when I was very young and it mentally scarred me lol

Good Morning Everyone! So Glad to hear the headaches are getting better, Sue! :hugs To all who have health troubles. I very much enjoy my birds when I am down.
Good morning Parront :frow Thanks for the kind words and :hugs I'm always happy with the pain free times.
