Naked Necks are a thing of beauty in comparison.

NN are in the "so ugly they are cute" category. These are just fugly.

Wow, he's in for a rude awakening about those monsters.
They take special care, their legs crack if the environment isn't right their anatomy is so skewed compared to a meat bird even.

Where did you hear about that portion of the care issues? Everything I've read says very little about the actual care needed for them.

They have some at Hollywild, a podunk zoo around here.
The things are sad they don't even rush for food, and they wheeze oh do they ever wheeze.

Downright handsome in comparison. The Dong Tao birds look like they have elephantiasis almost.

Well, my brother still wants those chickens really badly. But I think I convinced him to learn a "normal" breed first. He'll probably start with some of my Cornish.
