Only 14 weeks at the point. We didn't find out with my first two until 41 weeks when I had to get a fluid level ultrasound. We are getting a 20 week US this time and we think we'll find out if baby obliges.love it!! do you know what you're having?
Definitely a human though.Only 14 weeks at the point. We didn't find out with my first two until 41 weeks when I had to get a fluid level ultrasound. We are getting a 20 week US this time and we think we'll find out if baby obliges.
I do have my coffee each morning and yes, I'm staying hydrated- I feel like I'm floating most of the timeDoes caffeine help? Are you staying hydrated?
You are a great sewer so I'm sure its a quick project for you. I personally like shortcuts. LOL I'd get crib sheets at the thrift store and sew elastic on the sheet corners.Unfortunately no. The beds are 2'x4' so about 4" narrower than a crib mattress and Rivers is 2" thinner. Initially I had bought a $50 crib mattress for Jack. It did not hold up AT ALL to dog use. Now they have sofa cushion replacement foam which comes just 2' wide.
It won't take much to make the sheets really. Just cut a few inches bigger than needed and sew the corners then a pocket/channel all the way round for the elastic to go in.
Taking a deep breath while the other 4 dogs try and calm down. They are not pleased that I came back without River. They keep hitting the window and barking at my car.
Other thought would be add a foam topper. Again I'm way cheap. LOLAfter writing this response.....I find myself wondering if you meant the duck cloth to help the crib mattress last longer.....
The fail point we had had to do with the springs and dog feet pressure points ripping the waterproof outer layer.
The foam pads are very comfy and no springs. Quite expensive but thanks to coupons at Joanns I got them for roughly $70 each after my 50% off coupons.
Jacks bed (yes I know he is gone but it will always be Jacks bed) is on a frame I made that puts it at sofa height. We often sit on it with the dogs.
Here is my left hand and forearm. It's BAD.

OUCH! And were do you get solarcaine? That might be nice for my itchies when they hurt.Don't have any. I'm thinking about putting solarcaine on it (aloe with lidocaine in it).
Drug store. Amazon. Its mainly for sunburn and other minor burns but I've used it on itchies before and it helps take the edge off. It is AMAZING for sunburn though. Normal aloe is great but this magnifies the effect by 5. It comes in an aerosol can as well, but I like the traditional gel format because you can get more precise with the coverage.OUCH! Yeah, I was amazed how well it works on insect bites. I quit buying other lotions for poison ivy and such.@CapricornFarm The ACV REALLY helped! As long as I don't touch them. I didn't have to break out the solarcaine yet. Might save that for bedtime.
