Keep an eye on the absorbable sutures. My ACD didn't absorb them. They hardened then worked their way out.

Thanks. It is good to know that it actually does happen. What did they have to do for her?
They did mention that was a possibility. She will be due for vaccines before to long. I will be sure they take a look if nothing gets weirder before then.

Sometimes it takes a second cup, getting older. Somehow 2 skunks got inside the electric netting last night. This morning at 2 am, really. There must be a dry area that they got through. I will be watering well today. They ran around inside the fence a while but got out on their own. Messed it up a little, I hope learning occurred! I have a motion sensor light and driveway alarm by the chickens, so I can check at night. Only the paranoid survive around here.:barnie

Good morning Parront :frow Get the coffee and have a great day 😉
Good morning, Sue. Coffee sure helps me with my asthma and some headaches. Green tea in the afternoon is my favorite pick me up, or Sun Tea with ice and lemon. I think it is good for the before-dinner headache I get from too much time on the computer. Going out and playing with the ducklings is also a great way I forget about that stuff!

Morning, feeling less itchy today. The solarcaine worked really well for overnight. It was unbearably itchy before I went to bed.

Coffee helps me get moving and dealing with people 😉 most days, even when its not face to face. The only tea I drink is something for my tummy. I try to not spend much time on the computer or tablet, but even a little bit tend to made my headaches come back 😩. Playing with ducklings is always a good way to relax and unwind.

When she was fixed it was her and her sister so they did absorbing sutures inside and glued the outside. Knowing how wild 2 pups can be they thought it the safest. Her sister had no trouble but my girl got what looked like a pimple next to her incision. Then one day a blue stitch popped through the surface. I had known a person with the same issue and knew thats what it was. I brought her for after surgery check up and asked. Vet said it happens sometimes and if I'm not squeamish I can pull it. If it doesn't come easy let it go and try again in a few days. If it sticks out real far I could clip it off. But more will probably work its way out.
She had 2 or 3 little bumps that had stitches pop out. Once they were big enough to grab I pulled them and they came right out. Its something with how the body reacts to a foreign object. It seals off the knot cutting the ends off so the stitch itself works its way out.
My chihuahua I think still have a regular stitch in his toe. 🤷🏻‍♀️
