I'm in the same boat as @Fishychix. At this rate I'll be able to float over there. Temps stay in the 30s most of the week but go from rain to snow and back again. Walking in my yard sounds like walking on a frozen lake. It actually makes that crack and echo sound as I step from one iceberg to the next. I'll actually let the birds out today though. There was enough snow I didn't think they would come out and even if they did they would be soaked. Got to love Ohio weather. Only place you can get all four seasons in 5 days or less.

Good morning Henny :frow have a great Sunday ! I hope you have decent weather today. Our temps keep going up and down, one day it's in the 60's and the next it's in the 30's or 40's .

We should be near 50° today. I am really looking forward to planting season.
Today will be fight to get the ball valve open on the pool. I sure wish I had seen the freezing valve issue BEFORE we set that pool up.
Your 60's sounds divine! The 30's and 40's not so enjoyable.

They were really nice, but your right the colder temps not so much. I'd be happy with it in the 50's. Yes, time to start working on the garden layout and all that fun. We also have to pull all the weeds from them failed garden last season.

I will do my best! It will be largely spent dealing with ducks and their lovely messes. :lau What was I thinking getting ducks?
 
Well I fought the good fight and lost this round. That ball valve is absolutely NOT willing to budge.
I got my very slow manual syphon draining the dang pool.
I won't be waiting for spring to move the pool. Tomorrow I will haul buckets of hot water out to HOPEFULLY get the valve to open. Then I am pulling the pool.
