Nooo, that is the weird part the infection was caused by Coccidioides immitis!
That normally isn't even found here and I haven't been playing in the desert.
The only odd dust or dirt iv'e been in contact with is coop dirt.

Coop cleaning is a good place to use our covid masks going forward..... IF we are ever allowed in public without our human muzzles on.

I am relieved that it isn't the histoplasmosis. That is one lung thing NO ONE needs.
I never heard of Coccidioides immitis.
I know masking up to clean coops isn't the most pleasant thing but way better than lung issues.

Jerry must be evening out hormonally my shoes were not overly sexy and he was maybe a quarter as annoying to the herd in general.
Prince is finally realising he's the disciplinarian out there and that helps tons since im no good at teaching rooster etiquette.
Odd sounding news, Oprah is making butt dents in the nests so today might be getting a Oprah egg lol! 🤭




I hadn't either, the condition it causes is called valley fever, swear im not kidding.
Im still chuckling over the name, but it is basically a fungal pneumonia that is normally a southwestern, middle and south america deal.
