Heinz 57 mix of Rouen, Buff, Runner, and Ancona ducks and Golden Buff Cascade and White Campbell, Rouen and Buff drakes. What I get is anybody's guess! Just hoping for some good egg layers and to increase the number of ducks so that the drakes do not pick on them so much! All ducklings are cute :love There are 4 that have the Rouen look.

The final count from that section of strawberries is 82 plants. I dare say I have at least 400 plants in that bed. Thinning is definitely in order.

I potted up all but 4 of the ones I dug up. I kept 5 mother plants. The rest are daughter plants so should produce well if they take off growing in the greenhouse.

I think I have around 60 plants from a tiny 18" by 4' section.

I will pot them up in the greenhouse for now but oh my I doubt I will have room for all of them in that bed!

Maybe I need to make a "gutter berry wall". I have some plastic gutters we took off the big coop when we roofed the run. If I built a frame to hold them I could, in theory, plant a bunch in them. Thinking a vertical thing.....

I have some pallets, and I am using the old chicken feed sacks to hold the potting soil. A few drainage slits, holes for the plants. Going around the patio on the Air BnB, hoping for some cute flowers and plants. We shall see.
