Good morning!
Another chilly one but I'm not complaining about that just yet, when it gets to be 30 or 40 I'll complain.
Hubs brought me a new nightgown yesterday,his aunt said it didn't fit her and I like it but like most things it is way too long for me.:(
Did remember my tasks finally, I replaced a couple rotten coop boards and got sweet sapphire grapes while they're in season.
I love those long freaky looking jokers.
Oh and Hobo is molting early, don't know if that means an early winter or what but she's in full swing.:)

Crazy isn't it? Just boom from sweating to almost cold.

It's not done and don't mind the redness and swelling...my skin is just weird that way.

Tuesday I work day shift and Wednesday I move to second shift. It's going to take some getting used to for sure.
It will allow me to be here for these doggies so that's good. There is also a decent shift differential.

I got to boot a cardinal off the porch just now when I trotted out to see if Homer made it out of the coop.
Poor thing gets left behind more times than not and you'd think she'd just go find everybody but no.
She sits on the roost and runs back and forth on about a foot of it until I go get her and take her to the herd.
Luckily today she's on the porch in my basket so she saved me a trip.
Anyway, cardinal was a young male, he bit but very gently.
It was so weird.
I let Homer see him, she honked in his face.
Poor guy, hope his day improves.😂
 
A Jeep just stopped in the road guy got out and hollered something I can't type then got back in the Jeep and sped off like a moron.
Nobody else is out there, not a stinking soul.
I worry about people these days, they aren't right.
He's going to get whipped doing that mess though
