I think so. Wife's out of town and I somehow hosed up my sleep schedule

Those babies kept me up late peep screaming.
I finally got up to see who's killing who only to see that a katydid had gotten into the brooder.
Omg the way they were carrying on you'd think the sucker had a knife and a list of demands.

Really is morning this time, got ambushed by a squirrel and a litter of groundhogs so that is a dead give away.
Going to take these kids out to meet the herd and see if they pass the sniff test.
Won't lie I'm a little worried the last bunch is still very chickish mentally, the oldies will be just fine but Jerry's bunch might be interesting.
So I'm going to try to have one, hopefully you do too as long as you can keep that time straight.

Lordy, I'm going to have issues.
Took the babies out and Jerry and his bunch tried for two solid hours to get into the pen.
Sounds bad but in reality they just want the carrier.
You haven't lived until you've shucked a full grown rooster out of a little carrier.
Talk about fat man in a little coat.

@Chickassan Glad you are doing better. That nurse sounds horrible. The fact that they don't double check drug tests baffles me. Or find out if you've taken something that might cause a false positive. Have you seen a specialist for seizures? There are rx drugs for them but a lot of people have turned to cannabis. Better results with way less side effects.

Free rescue chicks from the post office! Did they call you asking if you'd take them? Sad that whoever ordered them just abandoned them.
I'm not great with chick identification but brahma would have feathered feet. Something like an orpington doesn't. Leg color and number and toes all play a factor. If the box had a hatchery name you could look at their site. See what breeds they sell and narrow it down.

These angry momma have now beat up 2 other moms and stole their kids.

Tiny Serama baby with its crop so stuffed I'm not sure it could stand up straight.

So much cute stuff I'm overwhelmed by mini chickens and squishy dog face!

The chicks were snuck to me on the down low by my mail lady Kathy, she knows I've got chickens and I'm a sucker lol.
She also knows I'm pretty adamant about people not being buttholes to animals so she sharpied out alot of the box.
I do know that they came from Hoover's and everyone has feathered feet.
Honestly they look like their brahma assortment and if that's the case I got fifty bucks worth of surprise kids if they sprung for females,..."fingers crossed I don't need anymore giant boys".
The seizures oh man I totally got flattened.
Partly my fault because I found out I'm allergic to benzocaine and I'd been generously numbing a wisdom tooth with it that I thought was an abscess since I'd already had five of the things removed.
That made things so much worse.
Benedryl caused the false positive I'd been eating those like tic tacs it being spring and apparently when you're in liver and kidney failure it causes it to metabolize in a way that trips for amphetamines.
They actually did prescribe an anticonvulsant Keppra which they're seriously sending me letters the mail if I'm late getting them refilled which is kinda concerning.
I've now got more dental work to be done, broke a front tooth actually drove it through my lip but nobody will freaking touch me right now so I'm super attractive.
And yeah girl, I've been researching the cannabis... for science you know.

Propolis for the teeth! Liquid can be good to flush into cracks but packing around it with solid or even powdered can really help. The Egyptians used to fill cavities with it.

My allergies do best with a nasal spray. Nasacort (the generic) is my usual spray. I can’t stand Flonase. Gives me a headache.

Some people eat corn flakes for breakfast. For our breakfast we went to the garden, picked some corn, I cleaned, and cooked it, and we ate it with a little butter.
