Longest Crest
Our „Chefin“ has absolutely the longest crests of all our females. As you can see, her crest is longer compared to the most males.
The “Chefin” is a very self-reliant and dominant hen. She accepts no other female in her aviary and can only be kept (1,1).






It is not always easy to show it with pictures, due to this her in addition a short Video.

„Rambo“ is a beautiful male. Unfortunately it is only possible to enter his territory with a broom, because he defends it with full power. This makes it very difficult to make good pictures from him. Today I tried it once again.
The young male and the young female from this year are his offspring. Both are very nice young green birds. From what I can see now, the young male has a similar character as his father and he will later defence his territory too. As chick he were follow me every step and tried to protect me. This is the reason why I named him “Bodyguard”.
The female will be a tall and tame hen without any aggressing.

Sunny St Nicholas' Day 2015, Part 1
The trains of the males are not yet having the full length. Due to the different moulting stage the lengths are different. The brightness on the neck and wing covers are back now and they are already starting to call.

The last part now shows “Rocky” and “Rambo”. These two fellows are aggressive and don’t appreciate my visits in their aviaries.
Both are amazing boys, but it is nearly impossible to make a good video or pictures from them. Both are 3.5 years old.
At the end you will see our blue and black shoulder peacocks.
