LOL that bears an uncanny resemblance
I like the hen; she's pretty...but seriously, pick a breed and just one breed, looks like a Blue EE to me
(Robin nest!!!)![]()

The poster is selling them as marans though, albeit spelled incorrectly. Some other people in here have said that are barred rocks and not marans. The point ralphie was making is that it can be hard to tell just by leg color, which is how the other person was saying they knew they were barred rocks and not marans which they are being sold as.
I totally agree. That's just wrong. To think of all the newbies that are taken advantage of out there. That is blatant deceit with the use of a Robin's Nest.Good golly they got that all wrong! And I don't want to hurt any feelings but I'm pretty sure that's robin nest...

Oh indeed. And saying amarecauna's (I think I got that right? I can never remeber how it's really spelled) aren't a pure breed
makes you wonder where they got their knowledge

Maybe they mixed up EE with the pure breed blue laying chicken (Ameraucanas).![]()

At first, $10 a chick doesn't sound so bad.... But they get pricier as it goes on...
